Progress he Sonora Guitar Intensive is a great (and intense) program that helped me break out of a rut in my guitar playing, and I have made real progress since then. More progress than in the last 10 years, in a matter of months. It does take some dedication, but if you are looking to get further in your practice, check out SGI

The curriculum and instructors at Sonora Guitar Intensive The curriculum and instructors at Sonora are top notch. I have leveled up my guitar playing in ways I thought were completely out of reach. The more I progress through the curriculum and connect with the instructors the more I get back in playing ability. Highly recommend this way of learning to play the guitar and become more musical in general. What you learn here is transferrable. Something I'm excited about is that I can sing pitches accurately now and this has unlocked so much musically for me. Shout out to Trevor Giancola for honing in on this with me and helping me unlock that skill! I developed this while completing one on one instruction with him (mentorship program) over several months.

Can't recommend this program enough! Can't recommend this program enough!! I have been playing for almost two decades but there was a point where I got stuck and was not improving much. I was stuck at that plateau for over 5 years and almost quit playing. But join this program has revived my love for guitar playing and in helping piece together elements that I learned was missing. Trying to get better one day at a time.

One of the best decisions I've made One of the best decisions I've made. The cost of the program at the time of my participation was roughly the equivalent of 60-minute weekly private lessons for one (to two) years. I benefited immensely from the sequencing and independent pacing of the curriculum and learned guitar in a way I had not been able to through self-led study. When I had more time, I progressed very quickly; and when I had a baby and had to adjust my practice commitments, it was right there, ready whenever I was. Three years later, I find myself wanting to go back through certain points of the program to further deepen my skills. And, unlike private lessons, I can still utilize the program for study. It's not a one-time benefit!

I can't overstate how amazing this… I can't overstate how amazing this program has been for me. I was a student in January of 2020. The pandemic hit hard just a few months later. I went from working 40 hours a week to 80 trying to save my business. During that time, I didn't have much time for guitar or this program. But thanks to Spencer, Ila and the entire Sonora team, the platform stayed open for me (and continues to stay open). This allowed me to run through it at my own pace, which proved to be perfect. Flash forward to the present, and I am a better player than I have ever been thanks to the intuitive lessons, the amazing software and the mentorship of some truly great musicians. Highly recommended!
