I can't overstate how amazing this… I can't overstate how amazing this program has been for me. I was a student in January of 2020. The pandemic hit hard just a few months later. I went from working 40 hours a week to 80 trying to save my business. During that time, I didn't have much time for guitar or this program. But thanks to Spencer, Ila and the entire Sonora team, the platform stayed open for me (and continues to stay open). This allowed me to run through it at my own pace, which proved to be perfect. Flash forward to the present, and I am a better player than I have ever been thanks to the intuitive lessons, the amazing software and the mentorship of some truly great musicians. Highly recommended!

Sonora Guitar Course Review The Sonora Guitar Intensive course is amazing. There is a ton of content - more than one could possibly digest - but that's a good thing. The course lessons are short and to the point, with helpful demos from the instructors. The individual instructors are excellent. I've had one on one lessons for about a year. The instructor pushes you; I've improved a great deal. There are many weekly supplemental ZOOM lessons covering a wide range of topics and music genres. The instructors are young and energetic. I highly recommend Sonora!

The curriculum and instructors at Sonora Guitar Intensive The curriculum and instructors at Sonora are top notch. I have leveled up my guitar playing in ways I thought were completely out of reach. The more I progress through the curriculum and connect with the instructors the more I get back in playing ability. Highly recommend this way of learning to play the guitar and become more musical in general. What you learn here is transferrable. Something I'm excited about is that I can sing pitches accurately now and this has unlocked so much musically for me. Shout out to Trevor Giancola for honing in on this with me and helping me unlock that skill! I developed this while completing one on one instruction with him (mentorship program) over several months.

Sonora Guitar Intensive rocks!!! Sonora Guitar Intensive rocks!!! I have learned so much from Michael. Mostly, he has given me the confidence that I need to make it to where I want to be as a guitar player. You would think that in this day and age, you could accomplish that with YouTube, however, there's nothing like the real deal. A person that will analyze your playing, that will give you feedback, that will let you know when you are doing something wrong and when you are doing something right, and support you with enthusiasm every step of the way. I highly recommend giving Sonora Guitar Intensive a try. I have been doing it for 9 months now and my guitar playing reflects it.

Brilliant learning path: Still part of my daily schedule after three years. I started with Sonora back when it was GMI and i've never looked back. I was in a self-taught rut as a player and needed to go back to the beginning. With many years of playing experience i needed a course that understood a seasoned professional needing to unlock a new path without losing my musical voice. My mentor TJ was very insightful and really helped me develop a deeper understanding of my instrument and harmony. Playing should be fun and Sonora is a super enjoyable platform to learn with - I'm still using it daily!
