The program has been great The program has been great. There is so much fundamental information and instruction that really makes you a better player from the ground up. There is also so many other resources you can take advantage of from players of all skill levels. It's been a great experience even though I have moved through very slowly. If I have ever had a question, it has been responded to quickly and thoughtfully.

The curriculum and instructors at Sonora Guitar Intensive The curriculum and instructors at Sonora are top notch. I have leveled up my guitar playing in ways I thought were completely out of reach. The more I progress through the curriculum and connect with the instructors the more I get back in playing ability. Highly recommend this way of learning to play the guitar and become more musical in general. What you learn here is transferrable. Something I'm excited about is that I can sing pitches accurately now and this has unlocked so much musically for me. Shout out to Trevor Giancola for honing in on this with me and helping me unlock that skill! I developed this while completing one on one instruction with him (mentorship program) over several months.

One of the best decisions I've made One of the best decisions I've made. The cost of the program at the time of my participation was roughly the equivalent of 60-minute weekly private lessons for one (to two) years. I benefited immensely from the sequencing and independent pacing of the curriculum and learned guitar in a way I had not been able to through self-led study. When I had more time, I progressed very quickly; and when I had a baby and had to adjust my practice commitments, it was right there, ready whenever I was. Three years later, I find myself wanting to go back through certain points of the program to further deepen my skills. And, unlike private lessons, I can still utilize the program for study. It's not a one-time benefit!

$5k without a single guitar lesson and they kept every penny!!! I paid them $5k to get my "guitar intensive" journey started. Once I had shown interest after many months of borderline spam texts, they went all in. I was pushed to pay the $5k as fast as possible because you can't put a price on your dreams. What's it costing every day you DON'T purchase the membership. Well it was near my birthday so with some help from my parents, I scheduled the $5k of payments across 2 or 3 payments within 2 weeks. It gets blurry from there. I had a few calls with various admin to figure out how they were going ro proceed with my custom experience. It ended up taking a month or so before I had my first one on one. Actually more like two months because ai asked to cancel after missing my 2nd video call with my "mentor" due to technical difficulties. My computer wouldn't play audio through their app and so they had me call on speakerphone. This wasn't exactly practical so after the weekend I called and asked for a partial refund. I hadn't had a single lesson yet mind you. I knew that they had invested a handful of calls in to me and I was embarrassed with my technical skills in fixing the problem so I offered them $1,000 for their time. Well that was a mistake because it turned into a very unprofessional race to the bottom where all he offered to refund me was $2200. $2,200!!! From $5,000!!! They have a guarantee where if any student isn't happy they refund your total cost. This is just a LIE. Nothing came of anything and I can't even sue them as what you ultimately pay for is to get on a group call list with no physical location. Be smarter than me. These scumbags kept every penny and ignored my further contact 😤 Spencer is a piece of poop and one day I hope to find you mother lover and give u a big hug you funky fan get!

Progress he Sonora Guitar Intensive is a great (and intense) program that helped me break out of a rut in my guitar playing, and I have made real progress since then. More progress than in the last 10 years, in a matter of months. It does take some dedication, but if you are looking to get further in your practice, check out SGI
