Guitar Instruction in bite-sized chunks This course is great! You can learn at your own pace, and the instructional videos are very helpful. These folks clearly know their stuff, and the bite-sized lessons are great for people like me with crazy schedules. I really like that with the revised curriculum each new technique is followed by a practical application in a song.

Love Sonora Guitar Intensive Love Sonora Guitar Intensive! Thanks to Spencer, Ila, and especially my Prep Class mentor Curt for moving me beyond the perpetual beginner stage! I have enjoyed both the Prep Class and The Intermediate online program. The modules are great and so are the Facebook Classes. I look forward to working with a mentor again in 2024.

The program has been great The program has been great. There is so much fundamental information and instruction that really makes you a better player from the ground up. There is also so many other resources you can take advantage of from players of all skill levels. It's been a great experience even though I have moved through very slowly. If I have ever had a question, it has been responded to quickly and thoughtfully.

Great Way to LEARN Guitar! I joined Sonora through the "Prep" program a few months ago. I've been "playing" with my guitar for years, but just in the short time I've been with Sonora I can see much improvement! Sonora gives me focus for practicing and also fills in my knowledge gaps with a little music theory that helps it all fit together. I'm really glad I found Sonora and would highly recommend their programs. I've just joined the "Core" program and can't wait to get started!

One of the best decisions I've made One of the best decisions I've made. The cost of the program at the time of my participation was roughly the equivalent of 60-minute weekly private lessons for one (to two) years. I benefited immensely from the sequencing and independent pacing of the curriculum and learned guitar in a way I had not been able to through self-led study. When I had more time, I progressed very quickly; and when I had a baby and had to adjust my practice commitments, it was right there, ready whenever I was. Three years later, I find myself wanting to go back through certain points of the program to further deepen my skills. And, unlike private lessons, I can still utilize the program for study. It's not a one-time benefit!
