The Disillusionment … It's deeply disappointing to see the use of dark UX patterns for basket placements in subscriptions. I once actively promoted this platform, but now I've ceased doing so. The realization of this practice is disheartening. I find myself wishing for a refund for all the courses I've purchased, so I never have to visit the site again. While some of the topics are genuinely interesting...

Unauthorised payment taken by Domestika The domestika courses are just about ok and under a £10 they are quite good value.BUT...I've just had £90 taken out of my account that I did not authorise.This was for PLUS a yearly subscription that I also definitely did not ask for.Like lots of large companies it is impossible to contact them directly.Very frustrating. I won't be using them again

Check your cart before checking out at Domestika… I purchased a $7.99 course on Domestika on January 23, 2024. On February 23, 2024, I was billed for a 1-year subscription ($93.99). I was not told this was a 30-day trial, and I do not want the subscription. There is no way to get ahold of customer service; I tried emailing and it was returned, and the number I called directed me to email. Terrible customer service experience. BEWARE!! 4.16.24 follow up: I wrote a letter to Domestika's CEO explaining what happened and requesting a refund. Today, I received an email that said they'd decided to make an exception and refund my money. Updated my rating, but I will not buy from Domestika again. Not worth the headache.

Beware!!! The company charged me £95 for an annual subscription that I did not register for. I only bought a £5.60 course. I contacted them and they told me the refund button is on the subscription. But it wasn't showing and now they havent responded to my emails. I can't afford to call them so just sending regular emails hoping they will answer. This has gone on for more than a month. BE VERY CAREFUL when purchasing courses from Domestika as you may un witting be signing up for a years subscription! It is very misleading.

Avoid this company I was charged £94.86 for a thing called domestika plus that they are sneaking into customers baskets when purchasing a course. I couldn’t contact anyone and the online instructions to get a refund were a nonsense! PayPal are refunding me thankfully. What a shame that what was a good company has turned so shady
