GBBought the Wouxun UV9PX and am very happy Bought the Wouxun UV9PX and am very happy with it. In addition to being an excellent radio, it's even better because it was programmed. Learning how to use it, I accidently changed a setting that stopped the auto scan... it was my fault. I sent Mark an email around 9 o'clock on a Friday night to seek help. He actually answered within 10 minutes and got me going again. I definitely recommend BetterSafeRadio!

GBPleased with the whole operation Received the two Wouxun UV9GX with accessories in about three weeks from ordering. Considering these had to be programmed, burned-in, and tested, I think that is a fair amount of time. The packaging was suitable to protect them, and the batteries were charged to about 80% or so. Ready to go right out of the box. The manual is two printed pages, front and back, and adequate to get going. If anything could be improved, I would encourage a more robust manual, and maybe a quick example or two: Tuning in a NOAA weather station; tuning in an Aircraft band (using one of the regional ARTCC freqs). Setting up to scan a specific bank. Mostly for novice "get started" type stuff.
