SEAnnoying security layers + no multi live view Why does companies add security that I dont ask for? Now you need some wierd code to view the cameras in the browser which doesn't work and is super annoying. I just bought three of them and now they're useless. Please let me decide my own security level. Also, in the preview pane you can only view one live stream at the time. I really thought these cameras could beat Wyze, but apparently not.

GBGreat alternative to Ring video doorbell The video doorbell is working well and no need for paid subscription to have access to video recordings. The device was shipped quickly. Installation was easy and the app works well. This video doorbell replaced our old Ring video doorbell after their recent egregious subscription price increase.

GBOverall Wi-Fi Eufy Cam 3 system with 4G… Overall Wi-Fi Eufy Cam 3 system with 4G camera's works well. Where the company fails miserably is when the camera goes bad and does not work. I had the system for 14 months. Camera went bad, their guarantee is for 1yr. Once a camera goes bad you have to purchase a new one for $179, after paying $476 for control and 2 cameras. Depending on how long the second camera lasts will determine if the Wi-Fi system is worth the purchase. If I had to start over again it would have paid to wire the systems given that the camera batteries do not last long. Eufy also does not fix camera and replacements are full costs. One would think a customer discount would be in order.

GBDefective S330 eufyCams I purchased several S330 eufyCams in October 2022. These have a solar panel built in and are designed to be used outdoors. The connect to the Eufy hub via WiFi. The theory is the sun charges the unit so you never have to. Fast forward 18 months and the solar panel has stopped working (the camera itself still functions). To be clear, I live in England - the unit was not subject to harsh conditions, chemicals or anything that would cause premature failure. Eufy support have refused to replace the defective unit citing expired warranty period. In other words, Eufy think a lifespan of 18 months is acceptable for a £450 security camera. -- UPDATE Eufy customer support have reversed their decision and have now agreed to replace the defective camera. Not clear if this was in response to my email to their UK General Manager. Unfortunate initial response, but I guess all's well that ends well.

GBThe only reason I'm giving it 5 stars… The only reason I'm giving it 5 stars is that it's free to use, no hidden or ever increasing costs. My Ring doorbell was probably slightly better than this eufy one, but there's no chance I was going to let them charge me double the yearly fee in only 2 years. The camera is quite sharp with vivid colours in the day but it lacks in quality when the sun is going down and it's almost dark. Sound quality is awful too. It'll do the job though and was good value for money.
