Its important to know Its important to know, that at first you have to start with the set up on the telephone before doing the cameras. Also I could not find anything about the coverage (range) of the camera. At first I have placed the camera to fare away of the garage door and the alarm did not activate.

Great alternative to Ring video doorbell The video doorbell is working well and no need for paid subscription to have access to video recordings. The device was shipped quickly. Installation was easy and the app works well. This video doorbell replaced our old Ring video doorbell after their recent egregious subscription price increase.

Disappointing Battery Life I have had the Eufy E40 outdoor camera for 17 months. In terms of performance and battery life it has been really good until a couple of weeks back when the battery started losing 50% of power within 2 days of being fully charged. These batteries are non replaceable and the warranty is 12 months, so nothing to be done other than buy a replacement. I am disappointed that this product, like so many nowadays, almost seems to have a built in obsolescence. I think I will look elsewhere for a replacement, hopefully with a longer warranty.
