USDrone Repair Review Drone Repair Review - DJI Phantom 4 v 2. There are still a few firms that delivery more than they promise and Drone Nerds is one of those few. This was an exceptional experience from start to finish. It is an easy process to start a repair ticket. (Advice, use FedEx ground to ship your drone). Once received by DN, I received an acknowledgement with details photos of my drone and controller. My tech, Josh, kept me updated with emails. Test flights and bench testing indicated that I needed a new GPS unit. Josh informed me when it was repaired and test flown. It was shipped back via FedEx, perfectly packed.

USSpoke with one of their technicians…DREW Spoke with one of their technicians whose name was Drew and he was very informative. He gave me a good foundation and direction for future purchases of different DJI drones. He also help me with cost com. I can see going to them for future purchases for our organisation.

USMy interaction with Drone Tech Matthew… My interaction with Drone Tech Matthew was excellent! He immediately responded to my concerns about my DJI Mavic 3 Classic Drone not connecting to its Crontroller and that was after the drone was repaired for a smashed and severely damaged arm and returned to me. He immediately said to send it back and he would check it out a fix it if needed. Adding that there would be no additional charges for reexamining the drone, fixing it and shipping it back. USDrone-Nerds Go South I suppose I'm no longer shocked as once reputable companies go south in this post-pandemic world. Drone Nerds seem to be one of those. My experience was poor, to say the least. I'll spare you my story but my experience includes not bad but non-existent communication, painful turn-around time (2 months), and sending my drone back as completely trashed. I did reach out to them but got no response. I'm certainly not going to sue over the $400 I paid for the crappy repair service. So yeah, public shaming seems to be my only outlet.
