The process did not go as expected… The process did not go as expected based in what is advertised. It is impossible to talk to someone, it goes right to voice-mail. It was a week before they processed the transaction based on Fed-Ex delivery tracking. I will say their payout was the highest, and believe me I did a ton of research before choosing a company. They sent the payment on the same day they processed it, so that's a plus as well. Overall, I would recommend tradeinmytech.com, as long as you have patience. Also, I just realized they have a message on their website to be expecting delays...I did not see that message, so it's more my error than theirs.

My only suggestion is to maybe offer the availability to be sent a shipping box with packing materials. Accepts nonmainstream tech but shady… Accepts nonmainstream tech but shady payment. Accepted a Pixel Slate, which I couldn't find anyone else accepting. Was quoted a decent amount (about half what I paid originally). When I received payment, though, it was in Euros when I was quoted in dollars. When converted back (through Paypal), I ended up being shorted around $80. Still ended up with money for something I wasn't using and no other site would accept.

I did take great care to wrap and package the laptop and all components carefully as well as to completely reset it to factory settings.
