GBPurchased a Hughes Autoformer 4800… Purchased a Hughes Autoformer 4800 Joules 50A. Was leaving on a trip to MO and item was being shipped to my home in FL. I called Brett to have the unit redirected to MO for me (if possible) and he reached out to have UPS change routing to me. NO problem and NO charge to me! Thank you, Brett! I arrived in MO and had my new Autoformer to protect my RV! Easy to connect and with the digital readout plugged into my RV, I am able to actively monitor the current being supplied to our RV!

GBNot knowing exactly how this thing… Not knowing exactly how this thing works, I still have a level of comfort knowing that its doing its job. The issues I've had are with the ground connection and the neutral connection. At my house, I have a 50 amp hookup. These regularly illuminate red when I first hookup. Hours later I'll check, and theyll be green. Dont know what to think about that. I like the weight of the device but I'd like it to be a little more weather proof as mine is starting to show sun fade and maybe even a little rusty in places.

GBI am a little confused about some of… I am a little confused about some of the few negative comments and it got me worried. What do I do if I am stuck someplace and I cannot get advice or help. So I called and they picked up on second ring. I asked about the autofomer which I bought because I experienced exactly what they speak about in several State parks. Before the autoformer I seemed to have trouble charging things and our TV had crazy lines. I thought it was the Sat dish. I measure the voltage at the post the following day it was 119 to 121 voltage. That night the parked filled up and our TV acted up. I measured the line voltage again one side read 108 the other read 105 to 109 and would not stay steady. It was a hot days so everyone was using their air conditioner Last month I returned to the same park and this time I had the Hughes Autoformer. I had no issues. The following night I unplugged the Autoformer and within an hour the picture on the TV started to shrink off and on and saw a wave in the picture. I noticed this got worse when our AC first cycled on. Just to see I used a digital voltmeter measuring both sides of the post sure enough the voltage was 109 even one side dropped to 103 volts then 107,109, 106. I shut the power and put back in the autoformer. Measuring the output it was rock solid 120 one side the other 119. I plugged the RV back in and the picture returned to normal. Staying 4 more days we never had another issue. While I know it helps my TV I am sure having low voltage and up and down voltage I am sure is no good for your TV or AC. I am sure the internal surge protector also does a great job. Why would anyone chance it. While you might have a service plan who wants to have their trip ended. I highly recommend the autoformer and considering including adding the Watchdog. I called when we got home to report my finding and again the calls was answered on the third ring. I am sure companies get busy and people call with tech question usually at busy times but I swear but this company and the piece of mind their gear gives me

GBNot Happy Bought the 50 amp ipo. Bluetooth connects when I'm standing at pedistal. Get on other side of rig and disconnects. Called and did everything thing they said. Sent email to complain and nothing.

GBPWD50-EPO-H not working I bought a PWD50-EPO-H and installed it correctly in my 2023 Airstream. When plugged into a 110 outlet in my storage area, I get a E6 error message. E6 is "Line Two Neutral Reversed" - it isn't wired wrong. I checked the electrical outlet and it is wired correctly. I tried two different 110 to 50 Amp connection adapters, one new and one I've used and had for 10 years. I have called Hughes 5 times, and noone ever answers. I have left a message, three days later no returned call. Apparently they have NO technical support. I am super disappointed, and can't use my RV. Update.............. 5/2/2023 After posting this review, Hughes called several times and were very nice. As it turns out, after leaving my RV plugged in for about eight minutes and the WatchDog resetting 2 or 3 times, the error magically disappeared, without me making any wiring changes. I then unplugged and replugged in the RV several times, and still no errors. I pray it stays this way forever. I am looking forward to the Bluetooth connectivity. Being optomistic here.
