GBBouncie is a Godsend... Bouncie has been a Godsend for our daughter’s car. Not only has it helped us keep track of her but it has also given us critical real time information. We know about how she is driving, her fuel consumption, long idle times (17 year old girl), as well as maintenance issues like her transmission slipping or other check engine light conditions. We love the Bouncie and will be putting another into our son’s car when he is old enough to drive.

GBSolid platform, but needs a couple of tweaks I like the features of Bouncie, but compared to a service I had from another company, notifications on Bouncie are very delayed. Sometimes they don't come in at all. The only other request would be to allow landscape mode using an iPad. I really like the UI, so it's very close to a very solid platform if the notifications would be remotely close to real time.

GBBouncie bricked my device, thinks I should just buy a new one The one star I gave is for the fact that when the service worked, it worked well. However, today I tried to reactivate my Bouncie device after a period when I didn’t need it, only to be told by support that they are “moving away from” the network my device works on, that it will no longer work, and that I will need to purchase a new one at full price. The only “discount” they’ll offer is a 2 month free subscription. No trade in program, because (in their words) they “simply are not offering” one. I’m now stuck with a completely useless device and no way to track my vehicles. And why would I bother buying another Bouncie device when I know they’ll probably just brick that one after a year or two because of another “network” change? Thanks, Bouncie!

GBDon't buy this Inaccurate, oversensitive, and slow. The device doesn't notify the app until several minutes after a triggering event, which could be the difference between life and death in some situations. Also, the device gives hard acceleration and hard braking alerts way too often; I rode in the car with my son and the whole drive felt quite smooth and safe, but the app gave three notifications for acceleration and braking. Also, on this drive, my son never went over 50 miles per hour, yet the app said he went 60. If he wanted to, he could simply unplug the device and we would know nothing of his driving. Plus, one time, it gave an acceleration alert from 34-17 miles per hour. How do you accelerate from 34-17? I would never recommend this device to anybody.

GBThe Bouncie device is great The Bouncie device is great. I get an alert if something is wrong with the vehicle or if it's just time for maintenance. I get an alert if my elderly mother (who still drives) strays outside a pre-defined area. I can open the APP at anytime to see exactly where her vehicle is located, or just to know that she has arrived at her destination, or back home safely everyday.
