GBI had to send back my daughters camera… I had to send back my daughters camera she got for Christmas as it was broken. They sent me an email to say they have received the camera and will issue me my refund! I messaged them after a week to ask where my money was and they said they said they got sent it by mistake and yet to receive the camera. They asked for receipt which I said to them I no longer have as didn’t see the issue when then emailed me to say they got the camera and were issuing me a refund! I asked to speak to the manger which they replied I had to make a complaint and sent me the email! I sent the complaint to have a email back to say my message has been blocked!!!!!!! I emailed the other person back and he hasn’t replied !!!!

GBA very poor and unprofessional company A very poor and unprofessional company. I ordered two items from Maplin. They send a dispatch confirmation email for both items that will be sent together. Only ONE item was delivered and it was significantly damaged and suspiciously looks like a returned item from a previous customer since the seals on the box were broken. The other item was not even included even though the email says it was. I wrote countless emails to Maplin and completed their online Contact Us forms. Absolutely zero responses. Eventually, I write a review on Trustpilot and surprisingly within minutes they respond apologising for my experience and that they assured me the item delivered was not second hand. I was told I would be contacted by their team... but again further waiting for absolutely nothing but false promises. They use Trustpilot to publicly respond to negative reviews so as to assure other viewing customers not to worry. It's a big scandal. I am now going to my bank to claim the refund since Maplin have failed to take responsibility for their incompetence.

GBOrder a crystal ball at the same time!!! Ordered a BT Diverse 7460 plus last week showing in stock with quickish despatch. Not received it, no emails no nothing so chased up to be told out of stock and no idea when back in stock and asked if i wanted to cancel. Item still showing in stock on their website and available to order. So their customers are supposed to get a crystal ball out to realise their order is out of stock instead of their customer service using an age old technique called communication and now a phone i needed urgently is not coming. First and last time i'm using their online services.

GBDon’t waste your time or money I ordered some 4lite wiz GU10 bulbs at what seemed a bargain price in 2 separate batches. Although some of the bulbs worked as expected others either didn’t work at all or wouldn’t pair. In addition the bulbs in on batch were a very different shape to the others. Customer service is lamentable with no reply to any of my emails and no contact phone number. Yes if it’s too good to be true it really is too good to be true.
