GBI love what XYO is trying to accomplish…BUT.. I love what XYO is trying to accomplish and want to be there when they get there. Their products are great, BUT, anyone try to contact XYO about order issues? Can't call them cause they don't answer incoming calls. CUSTOMER SUPPORT NEEDS WORK! They do however have an on line support site that helps with technical issues, but nothing that address product order issues. I think the company is great with the one exception of lack of good customer support. When XYO starts taking calls to support customers needs, then I will give them 5 STARS.

CANot worth your time and money Not worth your time and money. Got suspended for no reason a few weeks into my pro subscription. All I was doing was mining at home and while driving. What gives?

PTStay away from this company I downloaded the app in 2019 and was mining xyo since then, last year I began paying a plus subscrition ( I had almost 1 million coins) one morning I looked at my smartphone and noticed tha the app was blocked and there was a message saying "Prohibited activity: your account has been suspended please contact coin...xy.company". I contacted the company asking what was wrong with the app, the next day I received this message: You are no longer welcome to use the COIN app and further accounts will receive the same permanent suspension. Ensure any subscriptions you may have open have been cancelled. I couldn't believe what I was reading, then I send another email asking why my account has been suspended. Then they email me again saying: "You will not be permitted, under any circumstances, to redeem the COIN fraudulently acquired by this account. This account or an associated account was involved in one or more of the following: - Using invalid or expired subscription credentials. - Location spoofing (falsification) and/or device emulation (which failed to report correct speed, altitude, and location data). - Excessive account creation, trial subscriptions, or other activity exploiting or adversely affecting the services." I was astonished how they could come with so much ridiculous accusations. I am sure I never ever violate their terms of service, I don't even have knowledge to do any of the things they mention on the causes of the suspension, and worst of all, they didn't let me redeem all my coins. They even threatened me with a lawsuit. For me this is theft. And that's why I come here to warn everyone. Don´t waste your time and money on this.

GBExcellent app to collect crypto I have had a free account with XYO for a couple of months and have already cashed out twice. There are many opportunities to make extra coins in addition to geomining, including surveys, paid gaming and watching ads. It seems confusing at first, but if you take time to explore the opportunities and are prepared to spend time using the app, you can make some money. Regarding the bad reviews on here, I think many people have not understood how to use the app, or how cryptoexchanges work. If the value of payouts seems very low it is because ALL markets have plummeted recently - crypto and stock markets. If you hold your XYO there is always the chance that it's value might rise significantly in the future - or you can exchange your XYO for a different currency. I may upgrade to a paid account in the future, but either way I am very happy with the app and think it is a very interesting way of collecting and learning about cryptocurrencies.

GBI’m a DevOps Engineer: XYO is a Scam Let me be clear: I made $2000 off this “project” but it is indeed a scam I have been following this since basically the beginning. I mined using an old phone off and on, and made what at the time would be about $50 worth. Within about 4 months the coin had gone way, way up and I immediately sold. It’s dipped back and forth since. My issue: I am a DevOps Engineer. I live and breathe Linux, technical documentation, application installation and code quite a lot. I COULD NOT implement a single thing one of their SDKs There’s a note on their website that still says “Next Release Q1 2020” Their GitHub is dead. 2 years since last release. I believe people like me would be the backbone of the network, we know the technical details and are capable of expanding it. But we aren’t the target, the target is gamifying the app, adding subscription services (that never pay off) and selling more and more ad space in the app. And perhaps the biggest issue: their Core Features were supposed to be based on Bluetooth LE, and having location authentication happen when two bluetooth devices handshake and log that to be later uploaded as a proof of contact. Yet They no longer sell Bluetooth sentinels, but NFC cards which cannot passively handshake with other devices. Worse still, not a single answer on how this changes the project, or what the new cards add to the “network” I believe the original “sentinels” were a failed Tile competitor, and they found a way to implement them into their game. In fact, when you got the old bluetooth sentinels you had to update them for it to work with the app. Then they sold out of them, so they found the cheapest thing (NFC Cards) and starter selling those for another ridiculous markup. This is all speculation, but pretty well supported speculation. XYO is a scam and not worth your time or money.
