About TigerDirect

TigerDirect.com was established to serve the needs of computer users, and today we are one of the industry's top computer and computer-product retailers. Our web site has been ranked among the New York Times' "Top 25 Online Retailers" and our catalog has become a textbook for computer users. But our success has been built on a simple principle: take care of every customer like they were a member of our family. From the beginning, our top priority was to provide unmatched customer care and to help our customers understand how technology could help them. We've always invited intelligent, courteous men and women to staff our call center; to answer your questions, make recommendations and deliver solutions. We stock our web site with the latest products, the best deals---and plenty of information to help you decide for yourself. We are proud of each and every member of our staff, because they make the difference.

I was one of the many people scammed in… I was one of the many people scammed in their false Apple pricing. Mistakes aren't a huge issue if you own up to them, which they did not. They instead shut down any means of contacting their support. I tried calling, their chat feature, and emailing. They cancelled my order without notifying me, haven't refunded my money, and haven't publicly stated that they made an error.

DONT SHOP HERE DONT SHOP HERE! My complaint is literally the same complaint I’m seeing on other review sites- it used to be reputable but not anymore. Bought an IPad, they cancelled without notice- dozens of other reviews say it’s to collect data and spam and sell to others. Just run.

Apple Scam Scam. Holding funds from cancelled Apple Product orders that were never going to be filled. “Sold” Apple products way under cost knowing they would never provide the product. Caused losses to retailers who price match. No notice of order cancellations. Now this scam “company” has customer information to sell. I thought Tiger Direct was legit. Boy was I wrong.

Fake Sales, Keep Money for as long as possible Ordered an iPad and MacBook in separate orders, both were mysteriously cancelled with no notification of cancellation. They have pulled off these fake "sales" before, and although they claim it was caused by some sort of human error, it is simply not possible with the amount of times this has occurred. This is clearly an attempt to either get customer information (signed up on newsletter) or fix some sort of cashflow issue, as they have not refunded yet either. Please, please STAY AWAY!

Tiger direct has a huge warehouse north… Tiger direct has a huge warehouse north of Atlanta with a walk-in retail showroom. They do have some close-outs on computers, printers and other electronics. However, its best to shop around and see if their close out prices aren't the same as some other online retailers newly released versions.
