PINGO is Great - why are reviews not reflecting this? I've been using PINGO for years and have NEVER had a problem. The rates are great, the features they offer make using PINGO a sinch! I just recently decided to download the PINGO EZ Dial software on my Iphone and now have the convenience of using my PINGO account on my cell phone and call France all the time for cheap. If you're not using PINGO - you should honestly just give it a try... I personally have not regretted doing so and I love the cheap rates!

Rate is high and hidden fees I am still going to use the Pingo

New client: Calling from my cellphone in the US to Cellphone in Paris France My girlfriend is in Paris, France for a month and after spending almost $400 with AT&T I started investigating alternatives. I tried "Pennytalk" a complete joke and Skype which is fine if your near your PC. I am calling cellphone to cellphone both AT&T US (CA) cellphone numbers. The first phone call went through without a hitch and subsequent phone calls were better then my providers! I read the bad reviews and can't understand what the problem is? Horrendously Bad Service I have been a Pingo customer since January 2009, and for seven months I've suffered their bad services. Extremely rare were the moments when a call through their 'softphone' (internet phone) went through without major problems - and even when they did, the sound quality was always bad (on both ends). On most days, calling through Pingo was a chore, dialing the number dozens of times over 10-20 minutes until the call finally went through. And don't expect any help from their customer service, whether you contact them via phone or e-mail.
