easy to use without much knowledge Private Internet Access is very easy to use without much knowledge. I don't see any lose in internet speed. I'm very satisfied about this program and recommend also for beginners.

1st year BAD, 2nd year Good Experience 1st year, had a bad experience. On the last few months, VPN stopped working completely whether I'd try to connect from PC or my phone. Probably walked away from a minimum of 3mo account and simply decided to give them another try a year later. Seems to be good so far, haven't had any problems

PIA works great PIA works great, better than expected. I really am surprised at how well it works on Fedora Linux, the app is very easy to install and use, and no leakage. Also surprised by the huge number of servers. Only disappointment is the Firefox extension, it has a very limited number of servers and it slows down browser startup a little, but I think it is still worth using alongside the system-wide app. The Android app is good, works well on Fire OS too. The discounted rate for the first 2 years is great, the included year of pCloud 500GB storage is a nice bonus (didn't notice that until they sent me the email with a link to redeem it). I signed up to support Perun, he has great defense logistics & Ukraine war analysis videos on Youtube. Previously I occasionally used free services, DIY VPN with a few web hosts, and Tor, but I thought I didn't really need a VPN. Now, barely a week later, I'm glad I have it, I'm able to watch a few things I couldn't before (BBC & CBC content in the US), get the correct state sales tax on a few sites (GOG) while using Starlink (instead of randomly show up in any of a dozen states where Starlink has gateways), use wifi in a few places I would not otherwise (Walmart, other places with heavy tracking), and visit certain free content sites I use to only visit using untraceable devices on open wifi. Very happy with PIA.

Private Internet Access > Bitdefender VPN Used to use Bitdefender VPN to access streaming services from different countries, but their VPN servers were always getting recognized by the streaming services and then access was always blocked. I can count the number of times Private Internet Access VPN has had that problem on one hand. There's probably 5 times as many VPN servers as Bitdefender VPN, and whenever one server gets blocked they replace it with a new one. Very happy with the value I got, there's usually a good deal that PIA offers (think I got 3 years for $65 USD, or something around there).

no matter the OS no matter the OS, PIA remains solid. Experience is not needed. Like the fruit company once was, PIA just works. For new Linux wannabees, this is the best choice for ease of installation and continued upgrades.
