Thus, I tried using Malwarebytes, not only did it solve my problems, but it also found a number of hidden viruses that were affecting the performance of my computer. Have sent multiple requests to their support team for help - I am being blatantly ignored. It's three days tomorrow since I purchased the software and I am still yet to be able to access my account.
