GBSimplest peace of mind you can find Very simple to set up. For years I've been using a Synology NAS with built in redundancy to backup all my family's home videos - and with 2 kids who were performers their entire school lives, that's ALOT of performance videos! I was always worried about a catastrophic event like a fire taking out everything, and when I realized iDrive worked seamlessly with Synology, it was no brainer.

GBVery bad Good: Cheap and supports external drive sync. Bad: extremely slow, unreliable sync (doesn't always detect changes, sometimes Windows service just doesn't run), bandwidth "intelligent" feature doesn't work. On top of that, awful UI, and dodgy behaviour, including app adding shortcut to Desktop every time it starts. Would not recommend.

GBAffordable with great features I switched to IDrive because i need more storage than my current Google and Amazon backups for my phone, and the price for iDrive is better. I was pleasantly surprised that they also offer more options for a better price. The setup wasn't as user friendly as Google and Amazon, and the initial backup job as long, but you absolutely cannot beat their price for what they offer - i feel like i bought a cadillac for a bargain

GBCONTINUE TO BE DISCONNECTED WITH TECHNICAL SUPPORT TOTALLY USELESS - GO ELSEWHERE - I NEED HELP AND HAVE BEEN DISCONNECTED OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN WHEN SPEAKING WITH SUPPORT CAN'T REACH ANYONE VIA LIVE CHAT EITHER. YOU DID RESPONDE TO MY PREVIOUS REVIEW SAYING TO EMAIL publicrelations and they could help - really??? I don't have time to email anyone and wait for a response. TOTALLY USELESS I've been trying to reach support and have been disconnected 3 times. Tried live chat also to no avail. Guess your support isn't as advertised. I need live help.

GBTerrible Complicated Rubbish Terrible. Doesn't backup entire folders, secretly adds paths which might make it fail so you don't know they are not backing up. Customer support is a waste of time, they just point you and pages and pages of FAQ information.
