GBCONTINUE TO BE DISCONNECTED WITH TECHNICAL SUPPORT TOTALLY USELESS - GO ELSEWHERE - I NEED HELP AND HAVE BEEN DISCONNECTED OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN WHEN SPEAKING WITH SUPPORT CAN'T REACH ANYONE VIA LIVE CHAT EITHER. YOU DID RESPONDE TO MY PREVIOUS REVIEW SAYING TO EMAIL publicrelations and they could help - really??? I don't have time to email anyone and wait for a response. TOTALLY USELESS I've been trying to reach support and have been disconnected 3 times. Tried live chat also to no avail. Guess your support isn't as advertised. I need live help.

Things i have noticed slow upload speeds but could be due to my internet connection, using iDrive through my NAS to backup my NAS the software is abit hit or miss wheather it works or not. App on android seems abit outdated looks like its from a few years ago. Will see how it goes can't complain about the amount of space you get for the price just needs spme updating to the GUI's

GBI've been using them for over 5 years… I've been using them for over 5 years now and I've had outstanding experiences. I have a a lot of streaming video I backup and also some basic desktop PC, music and photos. Much of my backups are from external drives and I have only ever had one issue, that tech support quickly helped resolve. Once a year they will also send you an encrypted drive if you have a lot of data to backup to add at one time. You send it back and they upload it to your account. Works great and is free. For a personal backup system, it's fairly sophisticated but if you have some patience and some computer experience, it's manageable to setup and maintain. Some of the negative reviews appear to be more user related than system issues, in my opinion. Their log files have been useful in debugging any issues and the backups run unattended on computers that support background services to run properly. Especially if you have a few TB's of data, highly recommend.

GBSwitched to iDrive from iCloud Switched to iDrive from iCloud due to iCloud regularly failing to upload larger files even though I was paying for tons of storage space. Enough was enough and I moved to iDrive. So far, so good! Plenty of space (5TB) for a very reasonable price, automatically backs up my selected folders to a cloud drive. Customer services have been great so far, my only disappointment was being told that Mac Time Machine Backups may not work when backed up using their express drive service.

GBLearn from my mistake I had iDrive several years ago but chose not to renew it because I didn't want to pay for backup anymore. Well, my computer crashed recently - the dreaded blue screen of death - and I lost a lot of important work. At that moment, the fee seemed so insignificant compared to the cost in time and money to replace the lost records. I happily re-signed up with iDrive and feel good knowing that every morning at 3:00am my computer is backed up.
