The system is easy to use overall, and the tests are usually quick enough that they don't take up huge amounts of your time. Payment is always on time, and it's always interesting to see a new product/site come out a few months later and know that you're one of the people who influenced its development

This isn't something to replace your 9-5 job, but rather a way to earn SUPPLEMENTAL income, your earnings on UT all depend on the time, effort, your demographics, and feedback you provide on these tests. I've made over $400 this month of December on UT. I do other side hustles and gigs as a self-employed gig worker such as online surveys and UberEATS deliveries.

Legit, but frustrating UserTesting does pay what it promises, however it can take a lot of time to get through all the "screener" tests before finally being eligible for the actual paid test. I am generally eligible for tests 1-3 times per week. If the site glitches and you are unable to complete the test or if the test does not upload to the customer correctly, they will not pay. It's a good source of a little extra cash if you have a lot of extra time on your hands.

I got two one star ratings for no… I got two one star ratings for no reason. I am no longer eligible to take any more tests. User Testing told me that I was outside of the country which wasn't true. I am based in the UK and did not travel anywhere. I hd tried to contact the support multiple times and have never heard back. Do not recommend using this platform.

Usertesting is by far the fairest… Usertesting is by far the fairest company of its kind that I carry out tasks for. It is fair paying, very helpful and once you reach 4 stars or above you generally get around 5 tasks a week at least. On top of this, if a test doesn't work or is cancelled their end, you are often compensated. They genuinely seem to care about their workers and that is sensible as doing so encourages people to work well and provide useful feedback. I would definitely recommend signing up.
