Perfect customer support I am a happy customer for 8 years (Camtasia and Snaggit). Unfortunately my computer broke down. I contacted customer support to re-activate my account on another device -my bad: I did not have the correct details anymore- . The support was fast, clear and very helpfull. Eventually all has been solved - and in such a nice way that I felt it is worth mentioning. Thanks Mark!

I've had a lot of account issues with… I've had a lot of account issues with these people, and they are utterly incapable of doing the simplest of thing, such as deleting an account. They spam me with notifications from years old posts, and its impossible to unsubscribe. Or delete my account. And 0 out of 10 customer suppert people has managed to help. Steer clear! Multiple other similar, and surely better services than they offer.

Unstable software As a QA tester, I have used the overpriced Snagit video recorder for over a year on a daily basis. The software is unstable, random crashes, and more recently incompatibility issues with high-end PCs blocking me from recording simple videos. With each updated they f….k something up. I need fast and stable screen recording software without any fuss!. We will be ditching this software and the supplier. There are alternative solutions that do a better job.

I have spent 10 years working with… I have spent 10 years working with company. The software is horrible. They sold me on their latest version the 2023 application because the other version kept crashing. What a waste of money and time! Camtasia crashed 15 times and I can’t open the project. They couldn’t restore it. I wasted months getting this done. I’ve spent 24 hours working on this (only getting 3 hours of sleep) only for the new version that I just paid for to crash yet again and now I am out of weeks worth in of content. I should have stuck with Premier Pro! Do not use this company unless you want to lose important information, especially if you are a business.

Snagit keeps crashing In theory, Snagit seems like a great program. The problem is, Snagit constantly crashes. I now call this program crashit! I cannot waste any more of my precious time trying to make this software work. I canceled my annual maintenance agreement. I have moved onto another screen capture program.
