GBHorrible firm to work with Horrible firm to work with; AVOID. I'm on my third week trying to get my money out of this institution. Customer support is non-existent, fees are HIGH and performance is terrible compared to ANY institution that does the same thing.

TWRiskier than crypto usually is One year ago I wrote about how Alto Crypto IRA is riskier than investing in crypto on other platforms because of a risk that is unique to their platform: If Coinbase delists a crypto and users do not sell that crypto before it is delisted, those assets will be stranded, unable to be sold or transferred. Users usually just have a few days between when Coinbase announces a delisting and when it happens, so users don't have much time to act. One year ago Also said they were working on a solution to this problem, but they still have not announced anything or updated their website to make users aware of this risk. For future delistings, there are simple solutions like creating an option for users to automatically sell affected assets when a delisting is announced, but Alto still does not seem interested in solving this problem or making users aware of it. Therefore, be careful when putting money into Alto.
