Disappointed Gamer: A Brutally Honest Review of Starry WiFi As an avid gamer who relies heavily on a stable internet connection, I recently made the switch to Starry WiFi, enticed by promises of fast and reliable service. However, my experience with Starry has been nothing short of a nightmare, especially when compared to my previous provider, Spectrum. One of the key metrics for gamers is ping, and my transition from Spectrum to Starry was like going from heaven to hell. While with Spectrum, I consistently enjoyed a ping of 0-10 milliseconds, with Starry, I've experienced ping fluctuations ranging from 40 to a mind-boggling 300 milliseconds. These lag spikes are not just inconvenient; they're downright unacceptable for anyone serious about gaming. Starry's claim of providing fast WiFi falls flat on its face in my experience. Instead of consistent speeds, I've encountered erratic performance that can't be attributed to anything other than poor network infrastructure or oversubscribed connections. The inconsistency is frustrating, to say the least, especially when gaming requires split-second reactions and precision. Furthermore, the lag spikes I've experienced with Starry are not just occasional nuisances; they're disruptive and frequent. Imagine being in the middle of a crucial gaming moment, only for your connection to falter, leaving you vulnerable to attacks or causing you to miss out on opportunities. It's infuriating and ruins the gaming experience entirely. In conclusion, if you're a gamer considering Starry WiFi, I urge you to think twice. Despite their claims of providing fast WiFi, my firsthand experience suggests otherwise. The drastic increase in ping, coupled with the horrendous lag spikes, makes gaming on Starry WiFi a frustrating endeavor. Until Starry can prove that they're capable of delivering on their promises and providing a stable and consistent internet connection, I'll be looking elsewhere for my gaming needs

NOT HAPPY, PRICE INCREASE Starry advertised 30$ internet, no price increases. It has now raised to 45$ per month. When I called to cancel, they were happy to let me go as a customer. They'd rather lose my business completely. I COULD HAVE opted out of this, but apparently I missed the deadline December 12th. BYEEEEE!!!! UPDATE- They offered to drop it 5$ for one year, saying there was nothing else they could do because I missed the deadline. INEXCUSABLE. You'd rather miss out on my business than excusing the fact that I never received the email to begin with??
