Great way to stay connected at a fraction of the cost Currently abroad and have to say it’s been amazing staying connected with Ubigi. Easy to purchase and install and already functioning (so long as you’ve activated your sim) as soon as you arrive.

Great reception everywhere we went. UI needs improvement. Worked well and had reception throughout it everywhere in Japan that we visited. Reception persisted and we had coverage in stations and on trains and in theme parks where the signal could otherwise be disrupted. The only reason why I would dock a star is the lack of ability (or obvious ability) for me to check the remaining data on the app, and the lack of clear instructions around installing and using. Pro tip: don’t buy on a computer or browser. Instead, download the app and use the app to purchase the eSIM. The instructions should be outlined on the website and the website should link to the App Store.

Poor customer support Ordered 2 esims for Japan data. Was able to install on one device, but not on the 2nd. Even after installation, device 1 did not have data (activation missing perhaps). Raised complaints on ubigi support for both orders - no response. No option to email or call customer service. Terrible experience overall. Edit-26.04.2024: No response from the support team, even 3 days later. Note: To continue with our vacation, we ordered esims from Airalo and Nomad, and both devices were working fine.

Buggy and no support help I topped up my plan and my eSIM broke. Removed it and restarted my phone but it wouldn’t let me reinstall for some reason (kept getting errors) so I tried to reach out for support only to find your websites certificate expired which meant I couldn’t access it at all in Safari. Gave up and just did a charge back with my credit company and enabled AT&Ts international plan… Edit: Absolutely LOVE the canned response from their support team. I have screenshots of the error I received trying to re-add the eSIM (followed their instructions exactly) and the error about their certificate expiration, so yea… absolutely garbage response from their team, their product is just whack.
