As of this writing After a year, and as of this writing, I have two negative observations. It takes longer to connect than before. I don't know the cause or of any changes made. Connecting once was less than 1/2 the current buffering time. And sometimes (not often) I cannot get a connection at all, even after changing protocols or choosing different locations. Tweaking settings just doesn't help. So, I contact support to let them know, and wait 1-3 days for the matter to fix itself (most times), while I use a backup VPN during the occurrence, rather than pointless troubleshooting. [contacted support about the matter Mar-Apr 2023 and Mar 2024] However, overall, it functions well most of the time, and support is superb. I've tried several other VPNs (free and paid versions) and like this one the most. I like this VPN so well that I subscribed for 27 months, as of Apr 2023.

This app has a free version This app has a free version. If you do not need much from VPN, then the creators of this application treat you like a human being. If I already need more features from VPN, then I will choose this particular application with a paid subscription. On top of that, it is easy to use and install.

A fantastic company so easy to set up… A fantastic company so easy to set up and tailor to your needs and as even a novice it's so easy! I cannon recommend this company enough and I have been a delighted user for 6 months so I had plenty of testing before I wrote this no one lousy connection, not one drop and yes the streaming works like a charm too!!!

Best VPN 1. Best customer support: Quick, extremely elaborate and helpful! 2. Only VPN where I never had any issue at start up, or auto connection. 3. Quickest at connecting to servers. 4. Best kill switch feature with double security (stealth guard). 5. Offers fixed IP: better than dedicated IPs that some other services offer. Endless options for choosing fixed IPs. Easy set up. ! THE ONLY VPN AMONG THE TOP VPNS (EXPRESS, NORD, PIA, etc.) THAT DOES NOT GET DETECTED BY MOST VPN DETECTION SITES. Even the dedicated IPs by the aforementioned other services got detected. Hide Me only got detected by one. 6. All features you need in one small application. 7. Extremely good price for what is offered! 8. Many fast server connections. 9. Geo unblocking, torrenting, peer2peer, tor, streaming, split tunneling, gaming, multihop, ... EVERYTHING just works out of the box! 10. Many good settings options. 11. Good, up to date protocols. 12. Socks5 and IPv6... 13. Remembers last connections. 14. Or: one can get a new IP assigned by simply reconnecting to a location (dynamic IP). + All of that also applies to the Android App. Leaves nothing to wish for, except maybe a pretty map for the locations!

A good product A good product with faultless service. My only complaints about the product are the way the application sits randomly on the desktop and the WiFi icon. The application never stays where it was last left? I also dislike the way the icon for the WiFi changes randomly from connection to connection. I contacted hide.me about these two issues and they said they were normal. The information from hide.me put my mind at rest and provides me with a little product knowlegde which was otherwise lost.
