As of this writing After a year, and as of this writing, I have two negative observations. It takes longer to connect than before. I don't know the cause or of any changes made. Connecting once was less than 1/2 the current buffering time. And sometimes (not often) I cannot get a connection at all, even after changing protocols or choosing different locations. Tweaking settings just doesn't help. So, I contact support to let them know, and wait 1-3 days for the matter to fix itself (most times), while I use a backup VPN during the occurrence, rather than pointless troubleshooting. [contacted support about the matter Mar-Apr 2023 and Mar 2024] However, overall, it functions well most of the time, and support is superb. I've tried several other VPNs (free and paid versions) and like this one the most. I like this VPN so well that I subscribed for 27 months, as of Apr 2023.

THE ONLY VPN AMONG THE TOP VPNS (EXPRESS, NORD, PIA, etc.) THAT DOES NOT GET DETECTED BY MOST VPN DETECTION SITES. Even the dedicated IPs by the aforementioned other services got detected. Hide Me only got detected by one. 6. All features you need in one small application. 7. Extremely good price for what is offered! 8. Many fast server connections. 9. Geo unblocking, torrenting, peer2peer, tor, streaming, split tunneling, gaming, multihop, ... EVERYTHING just works out of the box! 10. Many good settings options. 11. Good, up to date protocols. 12. Socks5 and IPv6... 13. Remembers last connections. 14. Or: one can get a new IP assigned by simply reconnecting to a location (dynamic IP). + All of that also applies to the Android App. Leaves nothing to wish for, except maybe a pretty map for the locations!

Been a lifetime subscriber for a while The app recently solicited me for a review and I gave it a 5-star. I know there's not a lot of advertising done by Hide.me but they are the BEST in my humble opinion and I've tried a few in the past. I liked them so much that years ago, I signed up for a lifetime and dropped a chunk of change. Best deal I've ever made. They probably don't offer that one anymore but they're worth the monthly. So many sites in my home country block my international address and I just flip a switch, connect to one of the Hide.me servers and I have access again. They have additional levels that I've not seen at other vendors, most of which I don't use but truly sophisticated.
