GBBest email customer support ever I'm never happy when a web-based company only provides email customer support BUT Podbean has changed my view of email customer support. I reached out to them and figured (despite their claim to have a quick response) it may be a while to get a reply. Well, I thought I was right and reached out again a week later, only to find I missed their reply almost immediately after my original support ticket was submitted. Podbean graciously forwarded me the missed email and within 5 minutes and 3 email messages later, my issue was resolved. Best email customer support ever!

GBThey'll delete your data even if paid! The site is a bit glitchy and difficult to use in some ways, but overall they handled my podcast decently well for two years. However, when I was considering a new podcast service and checked out the cancelation options, they said that if I canceled, ALL of my data would be deleted IMMEDIATELY upon canceling. Even though I'd paid for a year-long subscription! How can it possibly be legal to delete people's data if they've paid for a subscription? Even with free trials on most sites, if you cancel you still get to complete the free trial. And even more so if you've paid for a service! Because of this absolutely bonkers policy, I want to warn people away from Podbean. EDIT to add: When you get to the end of the above cancellation process, they finally give you the option to just cancel your recurring payment. Hiding it there is really annoying! (And was one of several times they buried the lead to try to avoid control over my own billing etc)
