i used it to transcribe more than 500… i used it to transcribe more than 500 hours of audio and it was amazing and really fast and after they added the feature of adding multiple files upload i think they are perfect ( also the no limit on file length and unlimited uploads are crazy good deals ) sadly they increased there prices but still they are worth it

SUBSCRIPTION ISSUE I am currently a student and as part of my training, I have to write a research paper. Therefore, I need to conduct interviews and transcribe them into text. I chose to subscribe for only one month at $30, but without paying attention, I was charged $169 for a one-year subscription. I contacted customer support to get a refund and was contacted back in less than 24 hours to find a solution. I thank the Cockatoo teams for their assistance. On the other hand, the site is very intuitive and provides very good transcriptions for interviews of more than an hour. I recommend it!

3 months to finally resolve an issue ! On October 14, 2023, I was debited three times from my bank account for a total amount of €29 each time, resulting in a total deduction of €87 for the month of October. This occurred as I subscribed to your website for the first time. Following my complaints on October 18 and October 25, you refunded me twice, totaling €58. On October 18, I informed you that I no longer had access to my subscription and requested a refund. Finally, on November 7, you notified me that you would refund the last installment of €29. It has been a month since our email exchanges. As of November 14, the third installment of €29 has not been refunded, and I noticed a new debit of €15.28 on the same day. Since October 18, my account has not been activated, and I am unable to enjoy the features of your website. You can deactivate my account. I no longer trust your site. I want to first recover my money (€44,28) ! On December 2nd, the day I posted this review, Cockatoo finally got in touch with me. They asked me to reconsider my review and offered me 2 months of their subscription for free. They requested that I pay for the 2 months of subscription with the promise of a refund. I am eager to see if I will indeed be reimbursed, considering the history of the issue. The moral of the story is that Cockatoo only addresses its users' problems when they share negative reviews on this site. I find it unfortunate that one has to take public action for things to finally move forward! UPDATE 12/02/2024 The company made a commercial gesture. The platform is great.

Cockatoo is a fraud Cockatoo is a fraud, I uploaded my video and the srt file was two lines in Spanish, then a mixture of Spanglish.

Fees too high The 1-star review is not a reflection of their service, nor is it a reflection on the quality of their transcriptions, which sets the benchmark in the industry. I have tested other transcription services and none even come close. However, having been a subscriber and regular user, I find their 264% increase in annual subscription rate way off the scale. I'm sorry, but as I don't use anything like the available word or file limit allowed, I will not be renewing. Perhaps they might consider offering a lower annual subs rate for a lower usage requirement.
