Cockatoo is a life-changer Cockatoo is a life-changer. The quality of the Cockatoo transcriptions is really good - I’ve tried almost everything, and used every laborious process, over the years. My work is interview-based, and involves interviewing many different people. Cockatoo is the first to provide genuinely useable transcripts, super-fast and incredibly reasonably priced. It’s not perfect, and Maori words in particular do not transcribe well (which is an issue, as here in Aotearoa New Zealand we’re all using far more te reo Maori in our daily lives) but, in general, it is a godsend. I’ve recommended it to many others.

With the presenter's natural speech with pauses and hesitation, I wondered where the transcription would end each sentence... Nailed it nearly 100% of the time, but I think you'd have to add in inverted commas yourself for dialogue, if it was an audio of a novel. And it was very fast in delivery...a few minutes. I'm hugely impressed.

Unfortunately, I missed the button and clicked on the annual rate. Have you taken care to clear this error of mine ? i used it to transcribe more than 500… i used it to transcribe more than 500 hours of audio and it was amazing and really fast and after they added the feature of adding multiple files upload i think they are perfect ( also the no limit on file length and unlimited uploads are crazy good deals ) sadly they increased there prices but still they are worth it

SUBSCRIPTION ISSUE I am currently a student and as part of my training, I have to write a research paper. Therefore, I need to conduct interviews and transcribe them into text. I chose to subscribe for only one month at $30, but without paying attention, I was charged $169 for a one-year subscription. I contacted customer support to get a refund and was contacted back in less than 24 hours to find a solution. I thank the Cockatoo teams for their assistance. On the other hand, the site is very intuitive and provides very good transcriptions for interviews of more than an hour. I recommend it!
