I use the app on my phone I use the app on my phone, it is convenient. Not difficult to learn to use. The ratio function is handy, however a refresh option would improve it rather than to resubmit the action each time something is changed. Overall it’s a very useful app. Great for providers and parents alike. Keeping the lines of communication open is a must when caring for kids and this app aids with that when lots of staff or different parents are involved.

Our after school and summer programs… Our after school and summer programs have been using bright wheel and we love it. Parents can be alerted of their kids activities as they are completing them. The program also makes it easy to contact parents in any incident as well as generate detailed reports.

Great innovation to our preschool ! Our school has been using BW basic account for the past two years for check in and check out only. Recently we have upgraded to the premium account less than a month and we are loving it ! All the parents are super happy with real time update and the teachers receive smooth effective communication with parents fast without any delay ! It greatly reduce the management/office administrative work load! highly recommend!

One educator's review on Brightwheel As an educator, this software is time consuming and very clunky. In order to create one row of a lesson plan it takes no less than 16 clicks - for one row! Keep in mind that one row includes ONLY Circle Time for the week. As an educator/administrator: think how many plans/activities a teacher creates for one day in an ELC. Also, it does not offer an integrated Assessment tool - a definite step backwards from our former program.
