Choose a different provider Application does a decent job at mirroring my work computer, however they are advertising that they offer a 'blank screen' but it never works. When I try to get support to help fix the problem, my questions and comments about the issue are ignored. I was sent extremely vague instructions on how to fix the issue, which I had to google most of the instructions and the 'blank screen' still didn't work. This is frustrating. I paid more for the 'blank screen' feature, and it has never worked. I even paid more for that feature to be available. I suggest choosing a different provider.

It worked but..... The users didn't complain about the software so it seemed to work and perform as it was meant to. We need another user and all their plans are per user. The decision was made to go with a different provider. Auto renew was on and to turn it off I had to fill in their series of questions. I think it speaks poorly of a company to force that when turning off auto renew should be an easy and accessible choice for me, not a data mining experience. I understand their desire for the information but I think this speaks of a companies general culture in how they view their customers, sheep in a field to be sheared or valued clients that deserve some respect.

Beware! Their software contains malware Beware. I am a self employed Helpdesk Engineer and I downloaded this software as an alternative to Teamviewer as it's quite a lot cheaper. I would hazard a guess that this is a rogue company. Not only does their software contain malware, it blocks the installation of anti virus software. Their certification is out of date (SHA256 authentication) and their helpdesk is fake - kept in 4th place of a non existent queue for over half an hour. I'm very glad I didn't subscribe.

Poor customer service? Update: Resolved after submitting a second ticket. --- Original: I recently opened a ticket (January 6th) regarding a subscription I didn't realise I still had with Splashtop. It's unused so I wanted to cancel it. I was told that as I didn't have an active session and it was still within 30 days that I would get a refund as well. They asked me to confirm some details regarding the original payment which I did. I heard nothing back to date and when I checked my ticket (318353) I noticed it was closed and no customer feedback was required. I assume it was silently closed so that I wouldn't be aware of it. I've since opened another ticket to ask why this is and what the status is regarding the refund that I have yet to receive, but it's not looking promising at all. I'll update this review with more information as and when I have any, and if the outcome changes to be a positive one then I'll change the rating to reflect that. If someone at Splashtop sees this, the original ticket ID is 318353.

Very good experience IT-Company owner here. We have moved away from TeamViewer to SplashTop two months ago and it has been an overwhelmingly good experience. The sales team, the support team, the software itself: Very, very good. Professional, friendly, knowledgeable and fast. Setting up the software has been a breeze. Grouping customers, adding both Unattended or attended acces clients to those groups and inviting customers to download via shared links: It works fine and flawlessly. The software itself is very stable and especially the unattended "Streamer" has proved bulletproof. For the first time ever we have been able to remote into pc's during weekends without having to worry about loosing connection on reboots and such. The process of creating a company branded Splahtop SOS client has been easy and straightforward, too. Also, we feel like a customer again, instead of feeling like someone who is allowed to use software for money but shouldn't expect to be threated any way near decent. (That means you, TeamViewer) Finally, it's very cost effective. They have even thrown in an Android client. That one needs some work in my opinion, but hey, it's included in the base package. If they get that client working better that would be the icing on the cake, but for now I still rate SplashTop with 5 stars. Deserved.
