Switched from Logmein and never looked back After using Logmein and having prices hiked up to stupid money I switched to Splashtop about 4 years ago now. I provide IT support for my clients so rely on it everyday and it works great. As long as they don't get greedy and hike up the price I will happily remain a customer.

Very good experience IT-Company owner here. We have moved away from TeamViewer to SplashTop two months ago and it has been an overwhelmingly good experience. The sales team, the support team, the software itself: Very, very good. Professional, friendly, knowledgeable and fast. Setting up the software has been a breeze. Grouping customers, adding both Unattended or attended acces clients to those groups and inviting customers to download via shared links: It works fine and flawlessly. The software itself is very stable and especially the unattended "Streamer" has proved bulletproof. For the first time ever we have been able to remote into pc's during weekends without having to worry about loosing connection on reboots and such. The process of creating a company branded Splahtop SOS client has been easy and straightforward, too. Also, we feel like a customer again, instead of feeling like someone who is allowed to use software for money but shouldn't expect to be threated any way near decent. (That means you, TeamViewer) Finally, it's very cost effective. They have even thrown in an Android client. That one needs some work in my opinion, but hey, it's included in the base package. If they get that client working better that would be the icing on the cake, but for now I still rate SplashTop with 5 stars. Deserved.

Beware! Their software contains malware Beware. I am a self employed Helpdesk Engineer and I downloaded this software as an alternative to Teamviewer as it's quite a lot cheaper. I would hazard a guess that this is a rogue company. Not only does their software contain malware, it blocks the installation of anti virus software. Their certification is out of date (SHA256 authentication) and their helpdesk is fake - kept in 4th place of a non existent queue for over half an hour. I'm very glad I didn't subscribe.

Excellent RMS software that just works As a small MSP and IT support operation we switched from LMI Rescue to Splashtop SOS 3 years ago. Excellent software that works perfectly, is stable, reliable, easy to use and *fast*. Most of all, it costs a fraction of Logmein and Teamviewer. Support is first rate, the rare times we needed to contact them related to Ubuntu glitches and they responded instantly. Reading some of the reviews here I'm stunned that someone claims it contains malware - this is an outrageous lie and quite defamatory. Cui bono I guess. My only bugbear with Splashtop is that it cannot support multiple Splashtop accounts on one device. If it did I would have sent them hundreds of new customers. Highly recommended and I remain a happy client.

Choose a different provider Application does a decent job at mirroring my work computer, however they are advertising that they offer a 'blank screen' but it never works. When I try to get support to help fix the problem, my questions and comments about the issue are ignored. I was sent extremely vague instructions on how to fix the issue, which I had to google most of the instructions and the 'blank screen' still didn't work. This is frustrating. I paid more for the 'blank screen' feature, and it has never worked. I even paid more for that feature to be available. I suggest choosing a different provider.
