GBTerrible Terrible. 6/8/2020. Here is a specific example. I tried looking at columns by Hugh Hewett posted on the Washington Times. When trying to read the column I was told to subscribe or install Adblock Plus. I gave permission to install it and followed all instructions---no access. I have been programming since I ran Algol in 1965. My opinion is that Adblock plus rates a 0 out of 10. I could never make it work after several attempts over several days. My guess is that several "real" protection programs which I run prevent me from doing something. AdBloc is a "stinking fraud" path into a Windows computer---and possibly Apple as well.

GBI am truly amazed! I am truly amazed! My little Chromebook was painfully slow and ad-heavy. Adblock Plus totally lived up to its description. Their philosophy of "pay what you can' shows a real concern for their customers and respect for the enjoyment and need for the internet. How rare is a great product and respect for their users? RSExcellent extension That makes web browsing easy and pleasant from all those annoying unnecessary things that can ruin it for people. Currently using Google Chrome, and ad block, does it's thing greatly.

GBShoddy Upgrade and Support As the title says, an appalling upgrade and support process. I 'upgraded' in January. My version told me as of May I needed to upgrade. When I tried, the website reported 'an error' and to contact support. They had me uninstall it, which lost all my settings, and there was no way to associate any further 'upgrade' with my Paypal pre-approved payment - that went through, even thought the upgrade failed. There was NO WAY I was going to try again with the obvious risk of yet another account that didn't deliver. Their support is utterly useless, and does not understand what they have been told. Paypal had clearly set up a pre-payments, but Adblock told me they 'had no record' of it. You do not want to be trusting your money to such shoddy systems. I cancelled my Paypal payments, and got a refund - though not of the January one. I've removed Adblock Plus after several years of using it, and now use uBlock Origin. This is utterly ridiculous. The company is not to be trusted.
