Life Saver for Online Teaching / Meetings I am a pedagogue and have been teaching online throughout the pandemic. I need to produce quality audio while either going live or recording videos for offline viewing. My pretty much average mic on the laptop is converted to this super audio device through Krisp. The experience is so good that I have ended up recommending Krisp to every single instructor I meet. I have even recommended this to students. Brilliant job by Krisp!

Terrible Customer Support Terrible Customer Support. I was a Krisp user for several years. It wasn't perfect, but the product improved over the course of 2021-2023. During this time, I switched jobs and convinced my new team to use Krisp for video recordings and client calls. In June of 2023, I was let go from that company due to an acquisition. My paid account was attached to that email, which I no longer had access to. In Nov of 2023, I received a charge for a yearly subscription from Krisp. I went onto my account and noticed that I only had the free account. I had forgotten about the account attached to my old work account. I reached out on Krisp's platform via the chatbot inquiring about the charge. I was told someone would get back to me. I forgot about it, and a few months went by. I reached out again, and this time, I emailed their support directly. We went back and forth for over a week about my different accounts, with me emailing screenshots of my bank account multiple times, providing all my information and story multiple times, and after a week of over 12 emails, I finally got them to cancel the work account, but they refused to refund any of my money for that charge. Due to this really poor customer service, I have to say I will definitely never be a Krisp customer again.

Works in theory - fails in real life Works in theory, in practice, it's useless. I'm really not unaccustomed with new technology and use quite a few different apps & tools on a daily basis. However, getting Krisp to ACTUALLY record meeting transcripts seems to be an impossibly difficult task. It's especially frustrating because you only notice afterwards that you don't have any notes for an important meeting, when you actually relied on it. IMO the Krisp UX needs much improvement so it's crystal clear when you are recording for a transcript and when you aren't. I can only guess but I think it didn't record because I had to switch between headphones and audio output mid-meeting (due to surrounding noise). Should be a standard usecase tho. The Krisp app (installed on Macbook) has the toggle for "Note Taker" on and a checkmark behind "Transcribe". You'd expect it to do so. In vain! Same happened 2 weeks ago.

Massive value for your efficient online meetings. I am using it for several months already and pretty happy of not hearing anymore baby cries or animal sounds on background coming from other people. Now I can focus on conversation, understand the other parties first time(no repetition needed) and save time in shorter meetings. Of course, others also are not bothered from outside noise, if have open window or similar. Thank you very much indeed!

This little piece of free software has… This little piece of free software has changed my life! Having gone from begging for peace and quiet to record online courses and narrate audible books I can now stay in my office, record, and have zero background noise. I live in south west London so I'm in the flight path to Heathrow and located in the middle of a busy town centre. I started recording with planes rumbling overhead, motorbikes and cars roaring away, even a lonely fly started buzzing round! On playback all I could hear was my voice, clear and 'krisp'. I am gobsmacked! I'm signing up for the professional version just so i can give something back to the amazing people that designed this incredible software. Seriously, it's amazing. Thank you!
