This is a total scam does not do what… This is a total scam does not do what it proclaims to do. I lodge my complaint and requested that they cancel the account and a give me full refund. They did everything within their power to persuade me not to cancel what I thought to be a yearly subscription which turned out to be monthly. They offered several reductions in the fee, several three months. I insisted that I wanted a full refund and to cancel the account. They cancelled my subscription but failed to give me a refund as promised. Then they bombard you with emails asking you to reinstate your account Total and outright scam

They usually work, but think twice about using them. It seems these ad blocks are sometimes effective, but free sports streaming sites, for instance, can now obviously detect your ad blocker, so you don't get past go. The other thing people need to think about is that a lot of free sites we access are free because they have ads - but if everybody has an ad blocker, such free sites are no longer viable and will go out of business eventually. The reply to my comment by AdBlock is appreciated and makes sense. I don't mind ads on free sites as long as they are not too intrusive or try to hi-jack you to somewhere else!

Updating a negative review Last month I downloaded Total AdBlock by mistake, believing it was an upgrade of the 5-star Edge AdBlock. Although I was puzzled by the split in reviews - either 5-star or 1-star with few ratings in between - based on my positive experience with Edge AdBlock, I downloaded the extension anyway. It did not go well! Miscellaneous, non-stop ads filled the entire screen, and ads for Total AdBlock itself popped up on virtually every click. Frustrated, I disabled both extensions. The relief was overwhelming! I left a 1-star review! Not until I chatted online with an agent did I realize that there are two ad block extensions with similar names. I have re-enabled the Edge version and continue to be 5-star happy with it.

AdBlock is great and definitely NOT Total AdBlock It's unfortunate to see so many naïve people leaving reviews for Total AdBlock here, when the actual AdBlock program is so great. I've used the real AdBlock for close to a decade now, and recently signed up for their VPN beta as well. The AdBlock team has always made a great product for free, and only ever asked for the occasional donation. Keep up the good work and down with Total AdBlock!

I had to figure out that Adblock VPN… I had to figure out that Adblock VPN does not work with Linux OS. Yet they take your money. When asking for assistance you'll get a bot, or a self-help screen. Customer service is virtually non-existent.
