GBAdblock now spams users with ads. Adblock now spams users with ads. Have been sending them them a £10 monthly direct debit donation for 3 years, but today have stopped it. Adblock is now showing pop-up adverts for "Premium" version of Adblock near the top right of the screen, and today it opened up a new window promoting the cookie blocking feature. Adblock is now doing the what it says it prevents.... Popup Ads.

NLPop-up generating ad blocker Daily updates and begging for money in pop-ups is not my idea of an ad blocker

GBI paid for Adblock Premium I paid for Adblock Premium. However, I regularly (every day or two) find that it reverts to the free version. I have to go through the process of "Upgrading" and then select I have already upgraded, put in my Paypal email address, wait for a new verification code, enter the code and then set all the options I want to use. I contacted Customer Service (ticket 263916) and was told that developers are working on a fix but no estimated fix date. Can I have a refund - no, I can't, apparently. Wasted my money

GBAdBlock, it works for me - make sure you get the real/genuine one ! AdBlock - seems to do what it says really well (Jan.2019) ONLY from getadblock.com or Chrome Webstore downloads . Cuts down most adverts & stops all those annoying instant video ads, or at least most of them. Also reduces the amount of bandwidth / data transfer that each web page uses. . BE AWARE there are many copies of AdBlock and separate AdBlockPlus (- some of the immitators / sound-alike copies are allegedly malware/spammers) . (At Jan.2019 - AdBlock is on getadblock.com or Chrome Webstore - NOT from the webpage adblock . com)
