GBWe were quoted a price on the True… We were quoted a price on the True Value website. We drove for 5hrs and rented a vehicle to get the car. When we arrived they said the car had another offer on it. This was after much communication with the True Value/dealership reps. So disappointed that Sam's Club would allow this sort of unprofessional behavior.

GBSales Manager tried his hardest to… Sales Manager tried his hardest to charge me additional charges as possible. I had to pay very close attention. It was a very stressful experience, dealing with Roman. With his multiple attempts to charge me additional charges. I did not appreciate this. I used true car once before, no such hassles!

GBThe car pricing is high and inaccurate This year I planned to buy a couple of cars to upgrade. I bought the first with the help of TrueCar. Now, trying to buy the second one, I started off not using TrueCar. Then, I decided to use TrueCar to get deals. Came to find out, the pricing on TrueCar is higher than the window sticker price. I also just realized that the first car I bought this year reflected with dealer's add-ons on the purchase order. Not sure what is going on, but it gives the impression that TrueCar is not on consumer's side trying to save money in car buying experience.

GBGreat experience with TrueCar True Car was the right balance between high margin no haggle options, e.g., Carvana/Carmax and time intensive old school option of walking car lots and haggling with sales staff to try and negotiate a good deal. The last car I purchased prior to this transaction was fully online, but was a new car. For used cars in particular, I searched all the major services and found True Car to be the best balance overall.
