Think twice before starting a free… Think twice before starting a free trial with this company. I was interested in Deskera’s features, so I signed up for the trial and entered my credit card info. After a few hours of use, I was clear it was not a platform I wanted to use. I went through a cancellation process, but must have failed to complete it because two weeks later a credit card charge showed up. I emailed back and forth with their support 6 or 7 times to finally receive the answer that they just want to keep my money since I failed to cancel before the two weeks. Well, I don’t understand why a company that wants to provide a functional service would want to keep the money of someone who does not want to use the service, based on a technicality. But they do. So, make sure you get a cancellation email or something if you try and cancel. Otherwise, they are not going to be interested in refunding you whether you like, or use, their service. They are just excited about the $149 they get to keep.

Helpful in tracking expenses Managing sales and orders has become quite easier since I started using this software. It creates invoices and gives me a review on the finances too which helped me tremendously in the adjustment of my spending pattern. The buy module especially helps place orders easily and billing too.

Really simplified accounting for me It’s easy to use, and glitch-free software for accounting. I am a technophobe, and I usually struggle with new software and technologies. But Deskera is surprisingly easy to learn. I have changed my go-to app to Deskera now. What’s more, it lets me categorize my revenue and expense streams… which is a tiny, but welcome addition, that makes a huge difference. While I found the accounting feature to be most useful, there seem to be many more features in this software that I haven’t used yet.

Perfect software for startups Perfect option for startups as the software is so pocket-friendly. Plus it starts with a one month free trial that certainly lets you take your time to get the hang of it before you invest in it. The work done by so many different applications and people are put altogether in one, while being easy and efficient.

Changing resources for a job Small businesses like mine have had to face an uphill task in resource management ever since we have started working from home. So I tried out Deskera after finding out that it has a resource management tool, I am pleasantly surprised with how efficient that tool has turned out to be. Assigning people jobs based on projects, rather than based on designation, really helped me eliminate any sort of confusion regarding job responsibilities. The interface is very smooth as well. Easy to figure out, and easy to operate, so that there are no gaps in my understanding of how it works
