GBBeware of fees for buyer error I enjoy the product and I have tried a few different programs. However, be advised that if a buyer makes an error in their order and files a dispute, YOU, their paying customer, are charged a fee for the investigation of the dispute. I received a notification that somebody had flagged the charge from Shootproof as fraudulent, upon investigation it was clearly an error on the part of the person purchasing pictures. I offered to resolve it directly with the customer, which I was happy to do, but Shootproof refused to remove the $15 charge for the "investigation."

GBIt has the tools, but the tools are somewhat dysfunctional Pros + Attractive showcase for portfolio + Contracts + A database to keep your client's info + Somewhat simple to use, it's straightforward, but there are some functions that are so inefficient. Cons - Contracts don't always send with ease, sometimes they don't deliver, I contacted Shootproof and they didn't really help at all with this issue. I mentioned I used Hellosign and contracts went through flawlessly, that it could be something in their code or configurations to have other people's emails block them, no response. - When loading your portfolio/album, it takes a looooong time compared to Zenfolio, which loads extremely fast. I'm currently considering leaving Shootproof and using Zenfolio or other options and make sure my photographer groups know the pros and cons. Zenfolio also allows way more images to be uploaded with their base packages.

GBBest I have used I have been using ShootProof for over six years. My uploads are fast, the site is reliable, and the price is reasonable. The customer interface is attractive. I have used several hosting companies, and ShootProof has been the best. They continue to make improvements. Being able to see what my clients have made as their favorites and what is in their cart is very useful, especially if they aren't tech-savvy and have problems.

GBI really like shoot proof but.... I really like shoot proof. The idea it has behind the aim for simplicity is illuminating towards people like me. I’m always on the go and like sites like ShootProof for a one stop shop. I’d like to have it be a little more user friendly in navigating through the site and what I want. I’m computer savvy and know my way around a PC and Mac. There are a few areas I’d make more efficient. This way it would make me getting to know the site faster.

GBShootproof glitches have LOST ME CLIENTS I gave them 2 stars for a clean appearance and ease of sharing. Otherwise, GOOD LUCK with all the upset & exasperated clients you will have to deal with over the years. I shoot actors & work closely with talent agents in Los Angeles. Shootproof's glitchy software has LOST ME ENTIRE AGENCIES because they simply hate dealing with these galleries! There is a huge GLITCH in the "favorites" system which causes a client's favorites to simply disappear. There is another glitch that causes one client to be able to over-write another user's favorites even when logged in using a different email. There is another glitch that shows favorites being narrowed down, but later you realize they didn't narrow because you were un-starring from the thumbnail view. But there is a star there! And sometimes that method works! Sometimes it doesn't! WTAF???!! I hate these galleries and cannot wait to find a new company. This is the last straw.
