Was great for about 8 months then turned into a scam! I've had this service for about 8 months with no problems really. The cost was $100 a month for unlimited internet. Not many options in my wooded area. Anyways, three weeks ago they emailed me saying that AT&T will no longer let them use their towers, so they gave me a couple options. One was to terminate service and I would get payed back. Another option, which I chose, was to keep the service and they would send me a new sim card for tmobile service. They never sent the sim and charged me $100 a few days ago. The service completely shut off the day after the charge. I disputed it with my bank, got my money back and moved on. Don't use!

Happy with their service. Town Broadband has been great for our family, we’ve been able to run my home business and still use it with our TV and the rates are very affordable. Thanks Richard for helping me set up my new hotspot.

Paying for service you don't have I will start by saying our original experience of the provided service was good for being in a rural area. But then my device was stolen I called in and was told i could suspend my service and get a new device. I wanted to talk to my husband who travels before getting another device. I reached out to them they close early and we have been playing phone tag back and forth. They have since charged me for two months of service that i have not had service. For a suspended account. This was never told to me when I spoke to the customer service personnel. Upon calling today the customer service rep was very rude and argumentative with me. So although I originally liked the service i had and it was a good service I will not use a company who does not protect their customers from poor customer service or who would charge full price for a suspended account. There are other products that are just as good and who provide excellent customer service.

Trust Pilot Trust Pilot, I am not sure how to contact anyone there. TownBroadband continues to make up lies and never offers any type of proof. Now they are saying I sold data, a bald face lie, without offering a shred of evidence. I tried to mediate or at least talk to TownBroadband, they refused. Any other provider would have contacted me and we could have maybe found if there was a problem. Not them though, they saw a chance to make a quick buck and jumped on it. They have always said they notifed me "repeatly". No they did not. The first indication of a problem was an email from customer service, who said he was doing as he was told, he was a flunky, according to "Oliver". Then they tried to put the blame on AT&T. I don't know, AT&T will only talk to you if you have an real AT&T account, my account was through Townbroadband, just used AT&T data as reseller. I cannot see how they think 800 GBs/month is that much data. They think 400 GBs/month is all people need, they are seriously behind in data consumption. I have a 750 GBs/ month now. I only used about 500 GBs/data, did not make any changes. I think something is fishly with my data, but it is looking more and more likely to me that the fishy scent is coming from Townbroadband. I hope Trust Pilot can ask them to prove their statements. They expected me to be able to back up what I have said.

Same issue as other people here have… Same issue as other people here have mentioned. Asked to switch to T-Mobile. SIM card on the way but never arrived. Can’t get a live person by phone. Chat can only promise someone will contact me soon. I opened several trouble tickets and since 2/23/2024 I’ve got no response. Then they cut off my internet but still charged me a monthly fee. The bulk of it I pre-paid so kiss that goodbye.
