ATunfortunately I have to review the… unfortunately I have to review the company negatively. the software is alright but entirely unusable: tried out the serato studio recently, demo lapsed so I decided to subscribe in order to work on my tracks further. only the software cannot be started anymore. my account is shown as having active subscription, but the software doesnt get it and still thinks the license isnt valid. then I tried subscribing to serato sample. same issue. they draw the funds but the license is not working. the hope was support will get me up and running, since the issue seems to be widespread. the replies are really slow, which can be excused by the different timezones (they also mention being inundated with support requests). however its been 4 days now since I sent them everything they needed. 0 reply. nothing. the problem is definitely not an uncommon one. not sure why they dont update the faq with the licensing solution. I liked the software itself, although did find some bugs, was planning to use it. not sure anymore - never had a unusable subscription software, just bizarre.

GBGood software however, minor bugs I have been using Serato for over 2 years now and the software is great! The only thing is that the MIDI has a bug. So if you want to change the pitch/speed range on the fader it will change the range, so when I am adjusting the pitch/speed it keeps changing from +-8% to +-16% then to +- 50% so I have to go though the settings to stop this from happening and have a +-16% range. Overall I would recommend Serato.

GBSo far, Serato is a fluke! I have had Serato for a couple of years. I lost money on gigs due to Serato malfunctioning, stumbling and stuttering on me! I have e-mailed Serato to fix this problem for good and got no answers! I have given Serato an ultimatum to fix their hiccups once and for all or I will report them as disreputable!

GBSerato Studio is perfect BUT! Serato Studio is perfect for beginners, and those that just want a user friendly DAW, but I would would make a few changes that I’m sure would help. Suggestions: Strum Effect on first count/Automation duplicating/Trimming scenes in song view.✅ XPand!2 and Gross Beats plugin(s) can’t be used in serato studio. Also, there is no way to copy automation from one page of Scene 1 to every other page within Scene 1.🎬 Let me explain why my hands are exhausted. I wanted the 1st and 3rd beat/chord of every page in Scene 1 at -16.6db. I prefer your 📊bar graph option rather than your 📈line graph option when automating, but I still had to do each page by hand.✍🏾 That means with 8 pages in Scene 1, I had to make a total of 64 adjustments, since each page is in 1/16’s. Basically, implementing my own version of sidechain.⛓️ Finally, a way to add a grace note (Strum Effect) before the first beat of piano when playing a chord would be nice. This would allow my piano to roll into the very first chord. I thought about shortening scene 1 to 2 bars, but then all other scenes would be 2 bars. Also, there is no way to trim the scene in song view, so I couldn’t do that as an alternative either.📝

GBHorrible response time and communication The customer service provided falls short of expectations, with delayed email responses and incomplete issue resolution. The support team cites a high volume of inquiries as a reason for the delays. While the software is commendable, the unreliable service lacks personalized assistance and human interaction for effective issue resolution.
