I ended up canceling after days of wasted chat conversations and phone calls. Their call center is in Australia apparently. Each agent has a new and different reason for why you can't be validated. Everything said on this site is true.

Its been two months now and they are… Its been two months now and they are neither issuing the certificate nor refunding the money. Anyone who even think of buying something from them should consider the 1 star reviews of them (I was stupid to not do a basic search on trustpilot). A few hundred dollars lost to them, i wish you guys bu** in h*** scammers

OV Validation is a mess, no one cares about the customer I have ordered an S/Mime certificate from DigiCert. In order to be able to carry out the validation, a CertCentral account was set up. I have not heard anything more from this company. They are neither interested in the customer nor in his order. After 8 days I cancelled the whole thing, no validation team ever got in touch with me to even carry out the order. Automated orders work. But as soon as someone has to do something, everything falls apart. Never again.

In my opinion it's not worth the hassle… For me it's not worth the hassle! It was the worst on-boarding experiences I have had in a long time. They try to make you contact some platforms I had never heard of before to update information like your phone number. It's 2023 and there are official business registration sites like companies house in the UK, just so you know DigiCert team. Maybe they should check their documentation of platforms that they can trust rather than trying to make the customer update some information on some private websites. Who even thought a phone number is a great way to validate a business? So many things were strange about it all that I got my order cancelled and refunded.

I will be back for renewal I ordered a code signing certificate after lunch. A very polite lady called me less than an hour later to verify my company information. It took merely four hours to get my certificate, and I see they have validated it thouroughly. Also, I could generate and download using Chrome, I didn't have to resort to IE or IE compatibility mode in Edge. Compared to my previous vendor, who failed to validate for three weeks and use all the obsolete technology, this was totally worth the cost.
