Absolute time wasters Absolute time wasters! Totally unaware of local laws! Denied my UK business an SSL certificate just because we are not registered at companies house. Ordinary partnerships do not need to be registered at companies house. But they didn’t listen to any of my emails trying to explain this. They basically say: you can not get an SSL certificate unless you are LTD company! Terrible experience. Stay clear! Now I need to fight to get a refund! Terrible experience.

Customer beware! Stay far away from Digicert Stay far away from this company. Chats go around in circles and email replies are copy/paste without them even reading the email. Cert company verifications supposedly are only done by telephone now, even though their documentation gives you multiple ways to verify your company they will put you in an endless generic email loop that will never end. Very sad the way they treat long term companies.

So upset! Have been a customer for more than 5 years. Ordered and paid for my cert on Friday 1st July with 6 days before expiry. Sent mails to chase the order. Nothing. 3 hours before expiry they tried to phone a landline that we had discontinued during Covid. Everything else confirmed. Wanted a letter from my Auditors @ 10pm. One Google search for another option, SSL Cert Paid for, validated and installed before expiry for $19.00 compared to their $400.00. Horrible experience!

I will be back for renewal I ordered a code signing certificate after lunch. A very polite lady called me less than an hour later to verify my company information. It took merely four hours to get my certificate, and I see they have validated it thouroughly. Also, I could generate and download using Chrome, I didn't have to resort to IE or IE compatibility mode in Edge. Compared to my previous vendor, who failed to validate for three weeks and use all the obsolete technology, this was totally worth the cost.

Certificate validation is a disaster! Certificate validation is a disaster! They found some 10 year old (non existing) telephone number of our company in some public company listing and they keep phoning that number for the validation call, even tough we gave them the correct (current) number when signing up with them (Duh!) Which is also on our websites contact us form (Duh!) and on Google my Business (Duh!).etc. Stay far away from this company. Waste of time, energy and money.
