GBDigicert has gone downhill after getting bought out! jprog was a multi year customer of Digicert. After the hurricane in New Orleans I was having trouble accessing one of our servers and tried to get a re-issue of our cert. The website could not do it and told me to call a number that went to a call center with English issues, which could only forward me to which was what was likely the remnants of their former stellar support team which did not pick up or call me back.

GBWe've been trying to get a code signing… We've been trying to get a code signing certiticate from them now for 6 weeks. Total nightmare especially given that SSL certs are money for nothing. AVOID.

GBMost of the bad reviews are related to… Most of the bad reviews are related to the validation. The process is only hard if you don't have your organization information in order. It's not hard to set up a google listing or to make sure your gov registration is up to date. Digicert has by far the best support that I've had to deal with out of the big CA's and they've worked with me through some pretty ridiculous situations.

GBCustomer beware! Stay far away from Digicert Stay far away from this company. Chats go around in circles and email replies are copy/paste without them even reading the email. Cert company verifications supposedly are only done by telephone now, even though their documentation gives you multiple ways to verify your company they will put you in an endless generic email loop that will never end. Very sad the way they treat long term companies.

GBIn my opinion it's not worth the hassle… For me it's not worth the hassle! It was the worst on-boarding experiences I have had in a long time. They try to make you contact some platforms I had never heard of before to update information like your phone number. It's 2023 and there are official business registration sites like companies house in the UK, just so you know DigiCert team. Maybe they should check their documentation of platforms that they can trust rather than trying to make the customer update some information on some private websites. Who even thought a phone number is a great way to validate a business? So many things were strange about it all that I got my order cancelled and refunded.
