GBHorrible Company We recently had a potential client wanting to make an appointment with his snake. We do not accept snakes as our patients are dogs, cats and pocket pets. When asked where he found this information he sent us to localvets.com. When contacting the company they say there is nothing they can do as it is their sister company CityGrid's deal but when asking for a phone number they don't have it! Best part when told that wasn't very helpful for a POTENTIAL customer she hung up on me!! Who thinks that is customer service. Will NEVER use there services. Now on to search for CityGrid.

GBOutstanding service. LocalVets.com has always kept us at the top of the internet search page and as a result - the phone ringing. Then, on the back side, the ability to listen to our incoming client calls for protocol and to get a feel of how clients react to our hospital is invaluable,

GBA nice website but feel that it could be more user friendly.. I really like the idea of localvets.com and enjoy listening to the calls when appointments are being made. I would be happier if I received some sort of notification whenever an appointment had been made through the website without having to go and look for them. Maybe an email notification? Right now it is challenging to remember to check on these and I am only reminded about them when I receive notification that money has been debited from the account !

GBExtortion This company basically tries to buy up all the veterinarian search real estate on the web and sell it back to vets. By being the top listing on the page, someone already aware of your clinic and looking for your phone number ends up finding it on their service and you get charged $50. Most of the calls you get are for current customers and they charge you for the call when long time clients make appointments. If a current client gives a referral to a friend and they find your phone number on veterinarians.com, they charge you the $50 finders fee even though they are not responsible for the referral. You can get some of the charges reversed, but if you don't monitor it closely you will pay a lot of money for current customers calling their tracking number by accident. They are owned by a group that will monitor your presence on the web - so you pay the parent to compete with the subsidiary you are already paying - not a very ethical business model. They also advertise their tracking number on other sites and effectively compete with your free or paid listings on those sites.
