Sold off to GoDaddy with no fuctional support I was a Media Temple customer for many years, all seemed ok. Until the company was sold to GoDaddy earlier this year. Now my experience of trying to maintain my account inside of GoDaddy has been real bad, the two products aren't merged functionally, the service can no longer be used easily or quickly. I was on the phone to GoDaddy support yesterday for two hours and it's still a total mess. The operator (not his fault) had no info or briefing about what or where Media Temple was -he had no clue. At the beginning of the call he was Googling it on the external web. It doesn't inspire confidence in either company. Both the legacy of Media Temple and the reputation of GoDaddy. It seems like a merger or acquisition that has been managed really badly. It's wasted hours and hours of my time.

Disgusting level of customer support changing to GoDaddy Been a customer for 10 years and have had the most absolutely despicable service from GoDaddy since the changeover. Websites down, emails down, support staff have no idea or simply lie. GoDaddy then deleted all of my legacy email services from the transitional MT/GoDaddy servers. I've spent about 6 hours on the phone or chat support to these people and the service and reliability of the hosting gets worse every time.

Like a Kafka story Like a Kafka story. I cancelled my service with Media Temple after many years and closed the account before migration to GoDaddy and removed linked domain. Still getting emails from GoDaddy telling me migration successful DoH!

Cheated with a $360 bill after more… Cheated with a $360 bill after more than a decade of being their client. Due to their lack of support, increase of price, ftp problems and impossibility to contact, I requested to close my hosting on the 9th of April 2023, before they moved to GoDaddy. I received a confirmation that my hosting was going to be closed from Jonathan Ramirez on the 12th of April. Instead of that, I’ve been charged on the first of May with a $360 bill for a whole hosting year as a reseller in GoDaddy. I want immediate reimbursing and proper closure. There is no way to open a support request. None of my emails to the support account, the legal account, the press account, the PR account, etc. or twitter or the form in their website was responded. I want immediate reimbursing and proper closure. EDITED 6th of May: I received an email from Trustpilot to add review details, and I was expecting to have the option of attaching some documents, but the page was closed right after placing my personal details, leaving it with a "reference number" field empty because I didn't understand what it was referred to. The numbers for the bill are Invoice/Statement (ivs#): 103365-91 Account (act#): 103365 The web hosted was "marcelgarbi.com" Edited 15th of May: NOBODY contacted me at all. I feel robbed.

Much the same as a lot of comments… Much the same as a lot of comments here. I've been with MT for over a decade and now it's just awful. 2.5 hour wait times for a lead to a hosting question that may not arrive. Really disapointing that such a great name can fall from grace so tragically. I'll be looking to migrate my sites ASAP.
