I regret my free trial. I wasn't conviced by what the subscription offeres so I wanted to end my free trial. But the app had an issue, so I just deleted the app thinking that was that. Instead, they billed me the annual price. I kindly requested a refund, but they said no. There are a bunch of people this happened to on reddit and other forums. It's super unethical for a company making it's money with meditation and mental wellness.

Headspace is worth it if you are into mental wellness I've been using headspace for a couple years. The free version was recommended to me by my therapist.They have options for students, and people with lower income. The customer service staff is very kind, and understanding. I will be honest, quite a bit of the meditations sound very similar, but each session has its own blurb before the meditation. There's also ways to reflect on and track your anxieties and stressors. Many videos, activities and topics as well. I really recommend headspace

Atrocious cancellation policies. Signed up for Headspace with a yearly subscription, took note of the terms of use being "cancel anytime". After finding the app too attention-grabby and their colab with Disney and other less than noble francises, I wanted to cancel. Contacted helpesk, was told to do this on the Headspace platform, (PC) but it wasn't possible under subscription. Contacted again and they left me without responing for 3 months. "Sorry to keep you waiting" was the automated message in November 2023. Only after uploading screenshots of the page they directed me to, the platform - so they could SEE cancelling isn't possible, - also attatched my emails to their help center - did they cancel on the day. Oh like it was no problem. Some of the responses from the team were downright rude with resposes like "looking into your mess", misspelling my name and so on. And then: they tried to blame me, my email-adress,my bank- anything except taking responsibility, kind, and making less stress - ah - for users who came to them for mindfulness, and ended up with the stress of not being able to get away from this company.

Dont bother trying to sign up for the current 50% 0ff Do they never check their payment page, i know of at least 5 other people including myself who have tried over various days and times to sign up and when it comes to making payment it fails. And its nothing to do with the banks either we have all checked With the various banks. . Come tomorrow the deal will no longer be available. However, there is light at the end of the tunnel, balance app is offering a free years trial. So we will all sign up to their app instead. Judging by the many poor reviews here i guess we have all had a lucky escape.

Impossible to unsubscribe! Update:At this point, headspace already made the refund regarding the impossibility to unsubscribe the subscription. *** Impossible to unsubscribe once you make the first payment. I tried to unsubscribe since I don’t use it anymore and it doesn’t appear that option on the app or in client area on the site. Since my last payment details weren’t active anymore because of this problem they went for my first payment card that is still active and charge another year. I sent 3 mails for support and the don’t even reply. I’ll have to cancel my card because of this.
