Nic 1, Apple 0 All Apple offered me after a 45 minute one way journey to visit a “Genius” was $20 off a NIB 1st Gen HomePod they must have gathering dust in a warehouse. “Sorry, we don’t do repairs here at this trillion dollar company.” Nic, on the other hand offered me a multi-year life extension of a great product that needed $2 of parts replaced for a fantastic repair cost with turnaround time Apple could never muster. 5/5. 10/10. I was TOTALLY impressed…with Nic’s… I was TOTALLY impressed with Nic’s proficiency, attention to detail, and communication as I watched him repair my unit on YouTube. He went beyond the extra mile and fixed a couple of other small things he noticed. His email communication is very prompt. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND him and will certainly use him again if needed.
