Highly Recommend Neither my husband nor I have any building skills. I would give the directions on the Model 2 XL a 98 out of 100, and their customer service a 100. I would suggest including the part numbers with the descriptions. This was not the case in later steps. I would also ensure that pre-drilled holes were in all the places the directions indicated. A minor issue, but helpful. I did not expect a call back on a Saturday with my one question, but minutes after leaving a voice mail, Kevin called back and provided clarification. He was terrific! He also followed up with us a few days later to ensure we were able to complete the assembly. We are hoping this is the last coop we will have to purchase, as winters in New England can be harsh. First impressions on this company are quite impressive. I would buy again.

The coop is nice, but needs QC inspection before delivery The coop is nice, but we expected perhaps higher inspection of the names before sending the product to the customers. The names said “xxx horns” instead of “xxx hens.” Although, the owners were quick to resend us a new name piece after we sent over the picture of what it said vs what was requested via the order form, the new name was carved on a piece of wood that was really hard to read. Also, some of the pieces of wood wasn’t cut with precision so we had to adjust the wood pieces until they fit, and nail things into holes that didn’t align. Just expected better quality for the price we paid for the coop.

Your chicken coop is well made and… Your chicken coop is well made and heavy enough to last for years. It was easy to put together. The only thing I had to do was replace the latches on the egg door and the other large upper door with lockable latches like you have on the extended run. We have a raccoon problem and unfortunately they are very adept at opening latches. The chickens see to be happy as well. They never missed a laying day with the transfer to the new coop!

They even added an additional wind reinforcement at no cost after hearing that we regularly get 50mph winds at our property. The greenhouse was easy to assemble (but 2 people required). We are very satisfied.

Well-engineered Well-engineered, High Quality, and Durable We ordered our first coop three years ago, which has aged so well and is so proficient in design, that when we needed a new coop for guinea keets, we knew where we would order from!
