It uses proprietary "Eco-Plastic" that you cannot buy anywhere in the UK. The only way to get hold of this is to pay for the exorbitant shipping from the USA. Post Secondary Tactile Math Tool-Blind Students Success The doodler pen "Create" has worked good for a short amount of time and then tends to "slow down" or lose its power after repetitive use. I am on my third pen which is use to create math tactiles for a blind student. I tried to purchase the "Pro" version but it was out of stock when my last pen died and I needed a new pen ordered asap as the work I do with accessibility in a post secondary is time sensitive. It also gets really really hot on the tip so be careful if using it for extended periods. All in all-It is a great tool and has helped this student achieve success in pre-calculus level math courses.

Excellent Customer Service We purchased a 3Doodler Pen for our daughter for Christmas 2022. It was her most requested gift and she was beyond thrilled to get it. We had it for about 3 days before out dog unfortunately found it and chewed to pieces. Needless to say out daughter was heartbroken.
