I bought the game back in 2010 I bought the game back in 2010, with a licence that was supposed to last in perpetuity, however, now the game isn't working anymore. I contacted customer service and turns out they have dropped the old licences, without letting original owners know that they made that change. I never received any communications from Mojang, Minecraft or Microsoft (which apparently now owns the game) about any such change. It is a really misguided way to treat customer's who had been with you from the beginning, shame on you! Cannot recommend this company.

Really Good Fun Very Enjoyable game, the only thing is that there are too many ways to install cheats, and if the server doesnt have anticheats on people have massive unfair advantage. But i really like the game, ive been playing for 7 years.

Literal theft on Microsofts end It is utterly atrocious to revoke older player licenses without notification, making me now spend 1.5 times what I originally spent on the game again AND register my address on a Microsoft account (I should not need to give up my private information to be able to play a game I already bought... twice) just to play this game. The licenses back then were supposed to give you ownership of the game, revoking them is completely unjust so remember, if buying something doesn't guarantee ownership then... well, you know how the saying goes.

Very Good Game Very good game, You can play with friends, build, PvP on servers and more. Minecraft is a game of fun and "Infinite Wonder" you can do many things with you friends or alone in survival mode you need to try to get better and then eventually kill the Ender Dragon in The End and beat the game, Hardcore is mainly for good players and YouTubers, if you die on hardcore your world is over, creative is by its name create whatever you want. Java edition is the best version, the version you need to get (Which Java Edition is the version of this review) your kid will be amazed with how fun this game is you need to get this game. Also the price isn't bad for a offline/online game. This game is very famous (But even if it wasn't I would still say get it). Anyways have fun playing Minecraft Java Edition
