2nd best game hands down Love this game, been playing since Beta. I only play single player but better Linux support for versions other than Java Edition would be much appreciated. * mutters terraria is better.

The chat reporting system goes against… The chat reporting system goes against everything that Minecraft players have come to love about the game over the past 10 years. The whole purpose of Minecraft is to grant freedom to the player, yet Mojang's recent changes have taken that freedom away from us.

Extremely poor customer service Extremely poor customer service. The website password reset doesn't seem to be working, and after some correspondence with a rep (bot?) who only provided canned, unhelpful responses, they closed my ticket without resolving my issue, at which point I could no longer correspond with the rep. So I had to start over with a new ticket and I guess we will see if the new rep is any more helpful.

Migration to Microsoft is a disaster From brilliant indie game to a borderline criminal money grab scheme. Shame. My kids grew up with Minecraft but we're looking for alternatives. Funny thing is I'd gladly pay for as many cross platform licenses as my family requires and for whatever premium features we found useful. If not forced to do it... Instead we're going to stick to the single PE license. Not as an act of defiance or anything such but rather not to be screwed again.

Good game but incompetent devs The game is great at it's core, but it has some of the laziest and incompetent developers imaginable. They take almost a year to make each update and when it releases it's an unfinished and buggy mess which needs several patches for it to be playable. Both client and server performance is awful and keeps getting worse every update, to the point where you need to run multiple 3rd party optimizations to have a playable experience. The developers ignore game breaking exploits and major bugs and instead focus on adding useless features nobody asked for. It's a good game and definitely worth playing but the vanilla game could be a lot better, if it had decent devs.
