SEIts greed ruined what was.... Long have I known about IGN and its horrible practices. The first hatred sparked when they sold bought Gamespy and sold the most important part to GLU affecting 1000s of games. Then IGN started dabbling with unethical games journalism which was a part of the real GamerGate, not the reason the established media wants you to believe. And to the last they are now dabbling allot in politics and joining up with organisation who dabbles with cyberbulling, racism and sexism. IGN as a gaming journalist organisation is long gone and its words carries no weight in the balance of truth.

IEHonest, Detailed Reviews - Unbiased I cannot recommend IGN enough compared to the competition. It is my opinion that they're honest, unbiased and certainly appear to enjoy games unlike some other sites! All of their new reviews have videos which is great to watch on my iPhone and these are kept to a sensible length. The news section is worth checking on a daily basis as is kept up-to-date. The only area of improvement which i'm sure they'll get to is more coverage of iPhone games..

GBWe are witnessing the death of IGN.com This website use to be the go to place for anything to do with video games. Been using IGN since it started. I won’t be using it ever again. They sold out to Ads. It’s just ridiculous, fair you need to make money, but the amount of pop ups are just beyond acceptable. It’s a functioning website to help gamers, it is not a sales platform. You’ve completely sold out. Your website is a complete joke. There is no meed to hit a user with all the Ads in one go. It makes no sense, the only clicks your advertisers are getting are accidental clicks, not real leads. Lose the Ads or lose all your users.

GBToo Biased Reviews on the site these days are way too biased. Seem to always refer back to why x console/game is superior to y, even when x is a fps and y is a sports game.

PKMeh Reviews but Useful Guides Some of their reviews are wildly dishonest but plenty of their guides, especially on retro games, are well written. My brother used their spoiler free Chrono Trigger guide and I can confirm it was splendidly written.
