Bricked after 15 months light use. After only having my console for 15 months (to the day) with only light use it crashed mid game and bricked itself. I contacted Microsoft who said they can do out of warranty repairs for the tiny sum of £294!! Given that’s nearly the price of a new one I’d hate paying that much for what effectively will be a refurbished unit. Shambolic product if it can’t even make it 18 months. These items should really come with a minimum 2 year warranty. Ridiculous.

Trash! Trash! ...and every time I purchase Xbox live to game with friends, it gets WORSE! It is consistently trash across all games. For your sanity, and enjoyment of gaming, play on ANY OTHER NETWORK. No support at all. Gigabytes of self-help pages but none of it works. It's designed to distract people from finding solutions or realising there is no support. Xbox is done! Microsoft is a scam. Where did my refund go? I have paid for a game that I cannot possibly play, so I requested a refund right afterwards. They approved my refund request in a few days, but even after 5 weeks I still haven’t received the refund yet. I cannot play the game anymore even if I wanted to and my money is still not paid back. I have tried to find customer support but no, apparently it practically doesn’t exist: the email is non-existent and no one ever answers if I try to call their service phone number. I am extremely disappointed and very mad about the situation.
